any second-rate boxer fan throw 1200 punches against somebody who holds his hands up the entire time. Pacqiao's connect percentage was low and Clottey didn't look hurt at all. You're acting like pacman hit clottey with 1200 punches. All he really had to do was throw 50 tops a round and he still would have won. Some of you people are sounding like Jim Lampley "BANG! BANG BANG!!!" This fight was a joke...Clottey is a loser and should never be mentioned among elite fighters

WTF? How about you guys watch a bit more Boxing. This was the SAME Clottey that ALWAYS fights. He ALWAYS throws about 10 punches a round. What exactly were you expecting? To quote Emmanuel Steward "This went exactly the way I thought it would go."

You'd have to be a god damned ****** to order that fight. The undercard sucked and the main event was an HBO main event for sure.

Of course a lot of fans did just that. And they proved to Arum and co that you can continue shoveling **** down the throats of the 'fans' and they'll eat it up.

^This. Pacman did his job and threw a TON of punches but he didn't even have to throw that many to beat Clottey. Clottey always covers up and throws a few punches at a time. Clottey couldn't ever throw enough punches to be competitive and MOST fans saw this coming. Funny thing is people are still gonna act like this was a real tough matchup instead of pacman dominating a punching bag while listening to Jim Lampley bust a nut after every punch (especially the ones that were blocked). Oh well the dream fight is still in the air

Just hope Mayweather is not as boring as Clottey tonight. That would be messed up...I don't think any of the 50000+ walked out like they did when Floyd fought Baldomir. People don't understand that Manny did Clottey like nobody ever done. Margarito/Clottey was competitive, this was just one sided.

I didn't order this, because it was obvious what was going to happen. I knew the fight would be an uninteresting, uneventful, and one-sided decision for Pacquiao. Clottey just covers up, has a low punch output, and is also flat footed. This was always going to be an easy fight for Pacquiao.

They were clowning the fight on the radio for about 15 minutes. Clottey just showed up for the payday.

The writings on the wall when the trainer admits that his fighter is scared. Well, that and the fighter actually admitting that it was the first time in his whole career that he felt that he lost the fight.

No Mayweather is fighting someone who is actually going to fight back. The same person the pacman camp didn't want to fight. Still good work for pacman not to lose and keep the superfight alive

Stay busy fight for Pac until he finds out who wins the PBF vs Mosley fight. He was a human punching bag. Yes, this has been his style. He should have taken some risks and thrown more straight punches. He is going to be urinating blood. He was getting hurt badly to the body. He kept shaking his legs here and there. I believe he was scared. He wanted to go the 12 so he pop some shots here and there. Even his corner was telling him to stop with all the covering up and throw punches. At one time, his corner was telling him the ref might call the fight. Manny wanted to fight and that is why he threw both hands at once out of frustration. It reminded me of how he was getting frustrated with Cotto for backing up so much and not engaging.
