That is a sucky undercard in all fairness. They might turn out to be decent fights but you think they would have more established fighters on the bill. Or at least some exciting prospects. Pac will put on a show for the main event though. That is guaranteed. Still wouldn't pay 50 snots for that though.

 

Not great but not that shitty undercard either.

Alfonso Gomez vs. Jose Luis Castillo
Humberto Soto vs. David Diaz
Duddy vs. Medina
Margarito vs. Jones

 

there's no way they can show five fights unless one of them is a 4 rounder. Realistically, Margarito gets dropped and Soto vs Diaz takes its place.

All of the fights are guaranteed to be "fun" but they're all bordering on irrelevant.

 

money's #1 for arum. he knows people are going to buy just to see pac, so he puts other money making fights as headliners on other days. it's smart in a business sense, but not everything should be about money/business (especially in boxing right now).

 

You can also over saturate the PPV market which is why this is a BAD idea.
