Pac/Cotto 24/7 Show 1 (I know I'm late, but just saw it!)

    Okay first I'll say that I want cotto to win this fight, I think he'll win this fight, and I"ll be there on the 14th at the MGM to watch him put pac down on the canvas in the 9th! :happy

    -however-

    I wasn't impressed by him in this past weekend's 24/7! I'm late with this thread, and I'm sure this has already been talked about, but did anyone else think Cotto seemed apathetic about the fight? He also seemed slow when working on the mits and bag! Just curious what other people though.

    he always looks looks like that during training but he's a different fighter in the actual fight

    There was a thread about this and the general consensus was that he does that for the cameras so that the other fighter thinks he's slow and plodding.

    I think that h e's slow on the mitts becausehe's more focused on accuracy and timing instead of all out speed. He steps it up in the ring though it might be some tricks like some people hve stated before. I've always noticed that Cotto looks like he has a hangover when he goes into his fights.
