Provided Pac beats Cotto ( which I think he will), and PBF v Pac gets signed, who would be the the logical choices as sparring partners?

    For Mayweather: Judah

    For Pac:

I cannot pick a name for Manny to spar, because who can come even close to mimicking Mayweathers style?

I pick Judah for PBF because of his experience, defence, power & speed.

What do all of you think?

Mayweather wouldn't bother preparing on this basis for Pac, he hardly ever bothers with that type of analysis of a fighter, he'd just go for any southpaw.

Mayweather fighting Pac would be a fight where the guy was his own size and not entirely skilled. JMM did way better with Mayweather than Pac will.

As for Pac - the only guy they can get to mimmick Floyd is SSM in my view, but even then, he'd not do it for Pac unless Pac agreed to fight him afterward.

What? How is Mosley anything remotely like Floyd in style? For starters, they are at completey opposite ends of the aggression spectrum. Not to mention that Shane doesn't shoulder roll, or try and box that much of the back-foot.

Shane has the speed and ability to adapt his style, he did the same thing for Oscar and was mimicking the stlye of Floyd in the ring, for all intents and purposes, thats why they felt Oscar did so well in that fight.

They could trade Judah back and forth.

Lamont Peterson would probably do a good PBF and be a good sparring partner for Manny also Devon Alexander but he's a southpaw. Maybe even Bradley.

And Judah would have to switch stances back and forth.

Although 2 pounds refused to spar JMM, so he might decline Pac as well

    Guzman.

Of course, he'd rather get a real fight with Pacquiao.

Floyd could use Valero, Corley again, and some other quick southpaw.

Pac could use Forbes, and some other less know sparring partner but that are agile with Floyd's defense. Roach is prety good finding sparring partners.
