i have always had this self belif that a less drained fighter is harder to cut. so i guess oscar BUT. manny will get cut up and bruised. his style isnt that of a non bruiser.
I know Manny cuts very easily! but with 8oz. anything can happen, look at Margo vs Cotto. Those gloves did damage
I just dont see how Pac is going to win this fight, I really think that Freddy is maximizing what ever kind of cash he can make with Manny right now as his career starts to wind down, knowing Oscar has about two or three fights left before he retires why not put manny in there to make some big cash, Once De La Hoya is gone no other fighter in the sport will be there for manny to make this kind of money with. its not just De La Hoya taking this fight for the money, Pacquiao is to, however the pre fight show is also airing on Dish Network, and Manny has been saying things you just dont hear from Manny, he has suddenly brought God into it, and never before during interviews would Manny say things like God is with me and only God knows who the winner will be. I think Manny knows deep down in his heart that not only does he have to train extremly hard for this fight, but he has to go out there and fight it. yes speed kills, But will Manny have the same speed as he did at 135? and if so at the new weight does he fade in the later rounds? the last time someone moved up from 135 to 147 to fight DLH was shane Mosley, and though shane won and Oscar was in his prime, even then the power of Shane just wasnt there. I think DLH will be baffled with the speed in the first couple of rounds, but will turn it around with one big right hand, this fight it wont be Oscars left hook, it will be a right hand a straight right or a counter uppercut my money is on the uppercut. remember what seperates Marquez from Manny Pac or Roach from Nacho is a single round in 24 fights, this time Nachos man has size experience and power if you do think Manny is winning this fight its on a wild guess or its out of hope, but in reality looking at this fight, No way should Manny win theoreticly
Didn't Freddy say (on 24/7?) that if Manny loses he doesn't get paid? Thought I heard that somewhere I think they both get cut but Manny will first
If Manny doesn't lose his speed he will be able to maneuver around DLH. It will be a nasty fight but if he plays his cards right, it could go the distance. And if it does go the distance my bet the judges give it to Manny.
There's no doubt in my mind that Pac gets opened up in the mid rounds. Once he tastes his blood is when you'll see Pac start to turn the heat up.
