Can't look good against an opponent constantly moving and attempting to counter. After the knockdown Mosley obviously had to move because trading wasn't going to get him anywhere. That was too obvious it's shameful to mention it for those that seriously don't know what's going on.

Whoever expects Pacquiao to look good against Mayweather, who can adapt from defensive to offensive whenever he needs to, needs to wake up.

No, I don't want to see Pacquiao-Marquez III unless it's at 135. Even if it is, Pacquiao might still win anyway. That doesn't make him the better counter puncher. It makes him the better fighter between them head to head right now. Proves nothing as far as what we're talking about.

Donaire's competition vs. Pac's is also irrelevant. They're both faced world titlists and top contenders. There's a large enough sampling to determine who the better counter puncher is. And it's Donaire, while Pacquiao is the better overall fighter for a variety of reasons.

Do you even know what a counter puncher is? I really don't think you do.

A win is a win, was it impressive, not by a long shot.....regardless of the ailments at hand, Manny showed the same limitations he has always had....difficulty effectively cutting off the ring and consistently finding a moving target......he flails alot, has not jab and is a sucker for a right....still an all-time great, i picked him to win by stoppage a bit disappointing considering Mosley stopped trying after 3 rounds....same with the Cotto fight he let the fight linger way more than it had to

of course if he keeps fighting guys a fight or two past a drubbing(Cotto, Margarito, and Hatton) or washed up hall of famers(Mosley, ODLH)

Did it impress you that even after winning every round and up comfortably that Pac still continued to press trying to make it an exciting fight? You know after round 3 Pac could have played it safe and just dance around with Shane for the next 9, but he didn't .....that's pretty impressive don't you think?....that even with a huge points lead he's still willing to take unnecessary risks just to make it a lil more entertaining for the fans. That certainly impressed me. Yeah sure he looked a lil reckless at times trying to egg Shane on but don't you think it's impressive that this lil Asian dude who has everything to lose never played it safe and still stalked and attacked a bigger Shane Mosley nonstop....the casual fans in my fight party seem to think so.

Don't get me wrong this fight was boring as hell and Pac looked boreed and frustrated....but please, it really has no bearing on what Pac can and will do against JMM. If JMM comes to win and actually participate in the fight....I expect Pac to knock him out. If he pulls a Shane and just comes to survive and get paid...I expect Pac to look just as sloppy as well. ****, I can run around and lose 12 rounds against Floyd look and make him look bad if I wanted to.

Team Pac has something to think about. Like the British announcers were saying, how the heck is Pac gonna hit Mayweather when he had all kinds of trouble dealing with Mosley's moves. Good for Pac Mosley didn't throw many counters. Can you imagine what Floyd or Martinez would do to Pac? :toney

I agree that Manny won't look good against Mayweather, but that doesn't mean he can't beat him. Manny's power is unreal, and he is crafty.... Manny will in fact land on Floyd, and how Floyd handles his power is the determining factor in my mind.

How can Mosley throw counters when his hands are busy covering up from incoming punches and his feet back pedaling to move away?

Floyd? If Floyd throws counters then we will see exchanges . . . one of them is getting hurt.

Martinez? Nah that fight won't happen.

Don't agree with everything the TS posted but agree 100% with his thread title.

Pick your excuse but Pac did not look great. It was a very disappointing performance from today's top fighter.
