Floyd will counter, but he wont trade.

Thats the difference between Mayweather and Marquez.
Its in Marquez blood to sit in the pocket and counter in combination.

Marquez is always in punching range, because thats where he likes to operate.

Mayweather only puts himself in punching range for split seconds.
Mayweather gets in range, and being the quicker fighter he most often lands first and either get out or gets in to smuther.

Marquez being in punching range gives Pacquiao at least punching opportunities.

To me the split second opportunities that Mayweather stays in punching range comes to who the quicker fighter is........and there is not an ounce of doubt in my mind that not only is Mayweather quicker than Pacquiao, he is much quicker than Pacquiao.

Combination punching speed is not going to matter when the target is'nt there.:deal

it's hard to look good against someone who is scared to fight!!!

Don't forget Pac Man haters...When Shane fought Floyd, Shane believed in himself 100%...Against Pac-Man, Shane simply fought for a paycheck!!!

Good thing I didn't order it. :good

What people don't realize is that it's easy for a decent boxer to not get hit if he has no interest in winning the fight.

Mosley needed to fire back to win rounds and he wouldn't because he was scared. Every other time Manny landed, Mosley was stunned and sometimes hurt badly.

Manny did look befuddled at time by Shane's unwillingness to engage and did lunge sloppily at times due to frustration, but I really think that if Shane threw punches, Manny would have stopped him.

    Outside of size, hunh? :smoke

You got off on the wrong foot. Bradley gets KO'd- He don't know what hungry really is.. Paul Williams at 154 :rofl.. Martinez at 154 :rofl. How much more size do you want over Pacquiao?

Meanwhile in the real world, Floyd gets KO'd.

yea mosley looked better than oscar, hatton, clottey, and tony, plus was able to go 12 (something my boy cotto could not do)...

lol..he looked worse fellaz...lets not forget all the times shane was able to get out of the way of punches...hate to see what a faster fighter with much better footwork and technicque could do...hmmmmm..

I think you give Shane's "Running" too much credit by saying it was "technical". There was nothing technical about his blatant agenda to survive. This is boxing...running gives problems to any boxer. It's not thier game.

You saw some flaws on Pac that Floyd could exploit.

We saw some flaws on Floyd that Pac could exploit.

    Similar isn't it?

The only difference is that, One guy wants the fight, and the other is a foul mouthed coward with no balls that runs around like chicken and quacks. All FACTS. :deal

    negative..this is not a fact...

and look at the fights from a whole too....round 2 showed a flaw or two in floyds game, i agree...

but check the shane fight and the clottey fight...pac looked a bit off at times...

Shane controlled distance all night b/c of his running. That's not defensive prowess in any form. Not in the sweet sceicne at least. he didn't parry or use upper body or head momvent to stay in the pocket and make PAC miss.. He got out of the way by running. PAC's punch stats were decent all things considered. It's very hard to have decent numbers and a good showing when it's one man pushing the action and the other running away.

Except that if Mosley landed like MOra landed, then we would really be able to say Pacquiao had a bad night...
