Wasn't all the Pacquiao hype mostly generated on the hope and dream of beating Mayweather? His fans literally invested their livelihoods in the possibility of Manny beating Floyd. I am a boxing fan, I've followed the sport for years, long before Floyd or Pac came on the scene. I feel I know boxing yet I never saw what others see in Pacquiao, to me his skills, style, IQ was never good enough to beat Floyd. It was always a predictable fight to me, Manny gets outboxed and befuddled by Floyd's defense and ring generalship. Pac beat some good fighters but did not beat the one that mattered. He had half the world rooting for him but came up short because people refuse to understand that styles make fights. Pac's style could never beat Floyd, why did so many even think so? It's a shame so many invested in a myth. I hope in the future fans don't once again make the mistake of putting all their faith, trust, and loyalty into a fighter that clearly don't have the skills to beat the next TBE.
They've already invested themselves in a new hero....but their new hero avoided the newest tbe and they were so happy about it that they made a list of about 15 excuses for the duck But that's what happens when people emotionally invest in a fighter .....they start acting like women to protect those emotions
Considering He was on PPV before Mayweather, and considered an ATG before a Mayweather fight was even in the talks.. No.
Exactly, I'm just hoping they dont make this same mistake again. I hope they learned from the failed experiment that was Manny Pacquiao
Manny has been KO'd multiple times, no right hand, predictable in and out movement, can't cut off the ring, no defense whatsoever, yet so many of you were convinced he could beat Floyd...??? Really? I remember we use to ask you guys to explain logically how Pac could beat Floyd and none of you could ever do it.
Floyd got busted roiding himself to gills. Regardless of what his fans think, he knew he couldn't beat Pacquiao on his own, he desperately needed help. That's why he invited Memo to his camp and resorted to using PEDs. Even with PEDs and his personal bodyguard as the ref, he came up short. Obviously he would get the decision regardless of what happens in the ring. But he practically admitted Pac is the better man when he got caught with IV bags. He threw all his career into the trash bin by becoming the Lance Armstrong of boxing.
The reasons Pac did not beat Mayweather are....... 1... Pac was sabotaged by the NSAC & USADA when he was refused Toradol a permitted pain killer he needed for a rotator cuff tear.the night of the fight. The reason given " Mr Pacquaio did not tick the box stating he had an injury" 2.. Mayweather was caught receiving an illegal saline fluid drip An excessive 750 ml drip. 24 hours BEFORE the fight. No TUE was requested no reason given for needing the Saline. When this breach of the rules was revealed by Thomas Hauser. The claim was Floyd was dehydrated ROFL As a doctor stated " Lf he needed 750 ml of saline for dehydration he would have been in ICU NOT!! in a boxing ring 24 hours later. Then the NSAC has the gall to state. " Mr Mayweather applied for & was granted a TUE for the saline THREE WEEKS AFTER he'd received it" :shock:atsch Then added " We will not be investigating Mr Mayweather did nothing wrong":smoke Obviously NSAC & USADA had a different set of rules for Froid huh ????? On top of all this you had the Vegas officials scoring the fight a ludicrous 118-110 & 117-111. Yet Pac REALLY damned nearly beat Mayweather. A one point win or a draw would have been a LEGITIMATE decision Two words describe that travesty ... BLATANT CORRUPTION!!!
Pacquiao was a failed experiment? What does that even mean? Take this stupid Floyd vs Pac **** to youtube where it belongs.
When the dust settles the two boxers will be remembered this way .. Pacquaio............ The Fighter of his Era A bona fide ATG Mayweather......., A proven CHEAT!!who basically wasted his incredible talents.
