The same trainer that just suggested Povetkin is innocent? I would say it works in that he doesn't cite possibly unstable personalities who may contradict his other views as an authority and formed his own opinion, but I could be wrong.
I don't think Pacquiao's legacy hinges all that much on Floyd Mayweather as his resume is stacked with who's who of boxing. If anything, Mayweather's legacy is somewhat tarnished for letting the fight get stale for those of us that are knowledgeable enough to know how to rate a fighters legacy under the context of who and when fighters got fought. Imo Mayweather needed a prime Pacquiao on his resume more than Pacqauiao needed him. I'm sure though Mayweather has zero regrets as his ultimate goal was to optimize his pay purse.
Who cares about Povetkin? He's irrelevant. Roach and Pac have a close bond he's his trainer. He has also trained two fighters to fight PBF and both come up short. He knows what he's talking about in that regard.
I just made a thread about that today. Pacquiao went to war with Barrera, Marquez and Morales. He beat, drew and loss to everybody that mattered when it mattered.
How many historians and peers have Pac rated higher? Not as many that have PBF rated highrer. Hell ESPN just did a whole thing about the best boxer of the last 25 years and PBF came in first. The Ring did a article about the best 20 fighters since WW2 PBF was 12th and Pac wasn't even ranked and this was even before they fought. PBF among their peers rank highrer and lastly Roach even said PBF is the best fighter of the era. All these poeple can't be wrong and you somehow know more than all of them. Posters like you couldn't be more off base here. PBF > Pac period, the critics have spoken.:deal
Maybe you should change your name to "Doublethink", not saying that is what you are doing here, but it would describe you very well.
I have and I might have to reevaluate. You possibly shifted from doublethink to full fledged hypocrisy, we'll see.
I don't have a problem with threads being made about Floyd or Pacquiao, all I ask is that your threads be truthful and not full of myth, fantasy, and wishful thinking. One thing we could never do on this forum is actually discuss Mayweather-Pacquiao objectively, if we could then you would of known Pac was outclassed in every facet of the fight.
If only you were objective and neutral like me, you would see things my way. I might love this place.
The delay and the way the fight went down only serve to tarnish both of their images in the long run.
Do you know what Ring Generalship is? It is a major category when scoring fights. Tell me who is the ring general, Floyd or Pac?
