When the the judge ruled that there was enough evidence to go forward with the suit. The deal was sealed. Goldenboy knows how these things work.

This case was and in the case of Mayweather is going before a jury to hear and to determine mitigation. Oscars attorney explained to him that the jury would not be sympathic to him considering he was a know drug abuser (his rehab stint) and accusing another with no proof of drug abuse of Drug abuse! Mayweather is toast, I don’t think any juror will be sympathetic to his point of view. When not if (floyd just won’t shut up) pacquiao wins this case it could be a huge amount of money (50 to 100M) Floyd will never be able to fight again, his purse will be garnished at the gate. The IRS garnished a portion (6M) of his Marquez compensation.

Heed my word , I’m not just talking smack. Floyd should get down on his knees and start begging for a settlement asap or Check Mate.

The settlement had to have some money involved. At the very least, Petrocelli’s fees. The Mayweathers’ world is imploding. The lawsuit against Floyd is being revised to include his latest stupid remark, “unlike Pacquiao, his fighters are clean”. The elder Mayweathers have shut up. Floyd is still yapping.

This development should make the maynevers a bit worried. They have lost a significant ally and the evidence of their guilt is quite strong. The damages, if the suit continues will be substantial and FRAUD and Daddy will have to dig deep into their pockets to pay up.

Pac has as much chance suing mayweather of saying he is on peds, as floyd has suing arum, roach and espn for calling him a coward and defaming his character.:yep

I guess floyd should sue to.:deal

This clearly does not bode well for Mayweather. This along with the Mayweathers back tracking and down playing of the accusations of PED use in recent weeks suggests that Pac may actually have a pretty strong case against them. Anyone who thinks that the Mayweathers are not in serious trouble with this lawsuit are fooling themselves, all the signs are that Pac's lawyers are doing a very good job and have the upper hand at the moment.

The more the whole Pac vs May issue unfolds, the more I understand three things:

    1. Pac has always been clean, or at least he's not taking anything "standard" among all boxing athletes at his caliber thus no reasonable advantages can be met.

    2. Roger and Sr can't give Pac his due because he clearly outshines May at this point and according to them, what Pac has accomplished is "impossible", so their puny brains resorted to the easiest explanation available: PED's.

    3. FMJ doesn't believe Roger and Sr. He's only using all of these mudslinging to have a mental advantage over Pac and his team. It pretty much all backfired up to this point though.
3a. All other aspirants of a mega payday against Pac are using the same tactic to try and draw Pac into fighting them (Paulie for instance) or to save face from the brutal beating they got from Pac (Sr and Hatton for instance). Arum is there to coerce Pac to behave though.

funny thing with Pac's lawsuit against the mayweathers is that Pac will most likely get paid after all things are done without pacquiao fighting Floyd.

    Not in the Filipino culture!!!!

Fathering a child out of wedlock is a measure of how big your balls is. Unfortunately, being in a company of 50 cents and the likes is looked upon with disdain.

It's a legal settlement. Not a kiss and make up between lovers.

The fact that a Judge, a federal judge for that matter, a person who is very knowledgeable of the Law and has studied the evidences presented by the prosecution, upheld the defamation lawsuit instead of dismissing it, means it has its merits to go into trial. In other words, Pacquiao has a case.

Moreover, the fact that the settlement resulted in a public apology from the defendants which includes categorically clearing Pacquiao of any malicious acts particularly the use of PED, it can be said that it is a de facto win for the prosecution. Otherwise, why would the defendant include such humbling act in the settlement if they believe, to say the least, they didn't do anything wrong.

If it was dumped, Pacquiao would have gone empty handed and got nothing... not even a public statement of apology coming from the party he filed the case against.

long time coming, and it came with TR having them on their knees, but atleast those clowns finally did the right thing with an official apology and admittance of their wrongdoing by trying to defame Pacquiao. now we can get back to seeing the best matchups available
