Mayweather Sr., Floyd's father and trainer, told SI's Chris Mannix that he believed Pacquiao's ability to take Cotto's powerful shots and keep coming proved the champion was taking performance-enhancing substances. "I know Floyd is the best," said Mayweather Sr. "But when [your opponent] uses something illegal, even the best can get hurt."

So he says it right there that he thinks Pac is going to hurt Floyd,he was hoping it was roids.

Of course they can be detected, its just a matter of timing...if you are caught in a post fight test you are a moron. Random tests between fights is the only way to stop drugs cheats in the sport

If they are using the same tests used on cyclists and also random tests, ie halfway through training then fair play. Otherwise its easy for boxers to cheat.

I dont think Pac is a juicer ....i just think he is fighting at a comfortable weight for him where he doesnt have to starve himself and he is getting stronger from the exercise, nutrition, and personal training regimen that that guy put him on/

i think if pac was juicing it would be obvious for one reason - and you know what that is ?? his weight..

he had a 145 limit for this fight and a 147 limit for the delahoya one- and he came in underweight both times- he had to eat 5 times a day just to keep the weight on- and eat a meal first. one thing about roids is- you have NO trouble at all at building mass. if he was using if anything he d be maxing himself to the weight limit and then using dieuretics to cut down before hte weigh in- i.e.- he d make himnself as big and strong as he possibly could because he can. he isnt. he s coming in under the limit by a few clear pounds - meaning he s struggling to build muscle mass- or that he s reaching the limit of his bodies muscle capacity for this activiity- i.e 12 round pro boxing.

this just goes to show how vicious rumours and gossip can be. not that many people bought it- but all u need is one or two guys to mention it- and it builds and builds to this. im sure not all of us believed it- but im sure- that we all were the slightest bit anxious to see the results anyway. thats what gossip does, it breeds doubt, animosity and fear. its a shameful thing to have started on their part- and anybody like floyd senior who acuses an athlete of essentially CHEATING - should be prepared to pay the consequences for slander.

i think pac s reps are within reason to take floyd snr to court- for damaging his rep and spreading this ****. why not?! your bascialy accusing a collegue of being hte lowest denominator in our sport- and casuing alot of bad publicity and attention.
