In 2016 arum and de lahoya were interested in matching pac against canelo . And canelo said he was interested. But when they asked pac . Pac didn't seem interested. Same with ggg pac ducked ggg. And now he's trying to duck crawford. I remember pac was all about fighting the best guys . He just isn't doing that anymore
One of the greatest travesties in the modern era! Also add his MASSIVE duck of the Charlo’s and Bivol, Beterbiev and Amir Khan
PAC who fought Floyd, Oscar, Barrera, Morales, JMM, Cotto, Bradley, Marg, Mosley, Hatton etc is ducking no one!!!
this is on par with people wanting Floyd to fight golovkin the only reason people want pac and Floyd to fight at MW is to see them lose by fighting at weights they just cannot fight effectively pac needs to retire, not risk permanent damage to his health
Why would pacquiao fight GGG and Canelo? Those guys are way too big for him. And you might ask, 'well why did floyd fight canelo then?'... Floyd fought him cause canelo was young at the time, inexperienced, and Floyd could get away with it at a lower weight and with his defensive skill and illusive movement. Pacquiao is a come-forward fighter.... He wouldn't stand a hope in hell against GGG or Canelo. At middleweight pacquiao would lose a lot of his speed, footwork, movement, which is a key attribute for him. And then you also have to consider that he would get battered by body shots, and that Canelo and GGG hit like freight trains at middleweight. He also wouldn't be able to hit a fly at middleweight. He struggled in a tear-up against Jeff Horn. Jeff Horn is a big welterweight, possibly a small or maybe medium sized light-middleweight at best. He doesn't stand a chance against a fully sized middleweight, especially an old, slightly slower pacquiao. As for crawford, that's a different story. But what is there to gain in fighting crawford? He doesn't get big money fighting crawford. The chances are that the current pacquiao loses badly by decision to him. Crawford absolutely dominates an old pacquiao. Pacquiao is done at the highest level. He shouldn't be fighting anyone at the very top. He's got the money from the Floyd fight. He's fought pretty much everyone from his era. He isn't ducking anyone because he doesn't need to fight anyone.
I always thought Pac ducked De La Hoya also. I mean I know they fought, but I just still feel like there was some ducking from Pac. Both before and after the fight.
