Pbf/Castillo was a close fight but very easy to score...either a draw or 7 rounds to 5 either way it was a close fight but *******s bring it up like mayweather got his ass handed to him. Watch the fight and you'll see may won the early rounds, Castillo was coming on in the middle rounds and the latter rounds were action packed...could've gone either way. Plus it was 12 freaking years ago...mayweather won the rematch clearly no need for trilogy

Jmm vs PAC 3 in most peoples eyes that scored it had a draw or a clear jmm win...he thoroughly outboxed PAC and the commentary was so biased with guys screaming over shots Manny missed....I scored the fight jmm by 2 rounds never a lose or draw whenever I scored it.

In 4 fights Manny never beat jmm clearly.

Floyd fanatics bring up Pac v Marquez but never Mayweather v Castillo too, ironically.

Because the first fight was close and he settled the rivalry with clear win in fight 2 whereas Manny doesn't have one clear win out of 4 fights over jmm....why do you think they fought a gazillion times

What is there to talk about JMM other than KTFO6!

Why bring up a robbery in JMM III? The boxing gods made up for it by robbing Pacquiao in Bradley I.

There's no need to bring up Pac's past fights because he was getting knocked out by bums like trike driver Torrecampo.

I cannot respect a scorecard closer than 116-112 for Marquez in the third fight. Marquez won 8 rounds clear. Honestly, if I had a gun to my head I'd say that fight is much easier to argue 118-110 Marquez than 114-114. That might be hard for some to except, but do yourselves a holiday favor and rewatch it.

I can respect a scorecard that had Mayweather/Castillo I a draw. However, I've watched that fight four different times and always come up with Mayweather by a round. He won the first five rounds straight in what to that point seemed like it would be a rough fight but a comfortable score and while Castillo won the majority of the final 7 impressively, there is no way he won all of them like he needed to do (forget which late round that Mayweather won clear).

    That's just my opinion.

    He obviously hasn't.

To Pacs' credit, the first two fights were close.

We all value things differently when discussing resumes.

Bad thread. I mean, no sh!t right?! Mayweather fans seem to avoid Floyd-Castillo I, Floyd-Harris and Floyd-Jackson.

What is there to avoid about Floyd-Castillo I? Floyd won. It's just another notch in 47-0.

I always said that any honest scorer would be hard pressed to find a clear round to which to score for Pacquiao in that 3rd fight.
Considering the significance of the fight it was just as bad as the first Holyfield-Lewis fight.

......and I agree with you on Mayweather-Castillo.
Mayweather won the first 5 rounds by default really as Castillo did'nt do anything, intimidated by Mayweather's speed and quickness.
Castillo would have won on that night had he decided to fight much earlier, but he did'nt.
