I take nothing away from Manny Pacquiao but I struggle to think of him as thee best fighter in the world unless you are meaning excitement.

He is certainly 1 of the best but I watched the Marquez Pac rematch & I was rooting for Pac as I feel he is the more exciting fighter & with youth on his side & his improved (tho not as improved as some would like to think) boxing skills, I felt sure he could beat Marquez but no, yet again, he floors Marquez but doesnt finish him & gets countered all fight long.

Dont get me wrong, it was a close fight & there have been far worse decisions in boxing but here`s the thing.... this fight was actually pretty easy to score & just about everybody I know thats seen the fight had it even going into rd 12.... & Marquez won that rd.

Marquez should have gotten the verdict & this is Pacquiao in his prime, thats my problem with him being called p4p no1.

    :good

when i watched it live, i feel that it was really a close one that it could be another draw or someone have snatched it via a SD either pac or marquez. i wathed it again with a clear copy and counted each rounds and there are about 4 close rounds. if i split those 4 rounds i can get 114~113 pac due to the kd.

if you feel that marquez took it i have no problem since it's a close fight. but to say that marquez clearly won the fight is absurd.

Yes the second time arround... when i watch the top rank coverage i thought marquez SD but when i saw the HBO version (different angle shots) i was convinced that pac did enough to win.

Yes, i can confidently say Pacman won that fight without feeling I was reaching but can understand how people felt Marquez won. The 12th round was close but a round that Marquez should of won, the 1st round is what gets me crazy when people say it was Marquez's round when it was clearly a round for Pacquiao.

I scored 1st fight for Pac(the fact it is the judge error scoring) and the 2nd fight as a Draw.

I scored the first one a draw and the second one for Marquez.

But I think the calls of robbery where the second fight is concerned were excessive. Too close for that.

Yes, Pacquiao won the fight with Marquez. It was a close fight that could have gone either way. Every time those two fight it will probably be exactly like that.

As far as Divac is concerned. JMM NEVER NEVER NEVER lost in any of his fights! I said it many times but he never contradicted it

    Believe me!

I had 113-112 for Marquez in the first fight and 115-112 for Marquez in the second. I gave Marquez rounds 1 and 7. Pac might have won the 1st, but the 7th was close round to Marquez, IMO.

    Pac got the gift decision.

Losing to Marquez unofficially is no big deal though IMO

PAC won that fight in a razor thin decision. I watch it many times 114-113 for PAC...

Could've gone either way and I wouldn't have begrudged either Pac or JMM for the win. Just too many close rounds.
