I like both pac and ali:bbb i like mayweathers fighting, but i really dislike his persona and him just being a crappy piece of **** of a human being.
Also he duckes prime fighters and cherry picks.
If he would change these things i would be a big fan of him.
I thought he looked awesome from round 3 on against mosley.

Athletes who are opinionated and talkative can be well liked even if they talk trash, as long as they have a great sense of humour, they have disarming charm, witty and are good interviews.

So far not one "Pac Fan" that ive seen claim to hate Muhammad Ali, in fact the reverse.
Despite his personality, (flamboyant but very likeable), he was also considered as a "People's Champion" champion, which he was among the african ethnicity, just as Pacquiao is among the pac island ethnicity.

I assume that most phillipinos are pac fans. So with that statement, you're saying that they hate Muhammad Ali? Because, according to YOUR logic, which you state so matter-as-factually, that is what your saying. Great, now you speak for most of the phillipinos, let alone all the pac fans here.

Ya know, its funny. Deep down inside, most peeps here dont seem to be so extreme, and is open to other fighters. There are a few here who are Unreasonable Haters who promote an Extremist atmosphere, and end up twisting people's natural inclination towards a fighter into their extremist hate-mongering. These are the ones who insist on defining those who have inclinations into extremists, because they feel thats how everyone should be... like them. I get rather tired of being called a ******* by an extremist/hater because i favor Pacquiao over Mayweather in ONE fight. The funny thing, i love Mayweather as a boxer too. If you need proof, look at my posting history and you'll find all kinds of positive observations & reviews on Mayweather concerning his abilities.

One BIG distinction you'll want to learn is that a reasonable man may love a boxer in the ring and may NOT love him out of the ring. With this thought, a Pac fan honestly can like Mayweather as a fighter too, but not his lousy character - which is my case. But just because i dont like his character and think he doesnt have class, mean that i dont like him as a fighter. Thats a big fallacy. Pac fans CAN like Muhammad Ali, with or without his personality.

ali was and is huge in manila. people are aware of what he says and how he acts and yet they love him. floyd is a different animal altogether. people can sense phonies and they don't like it. you fanboys defend floyd with his antics saying he really is a nice guy and he only does what he does fo show. i say that is crap. what the **** ever happened to integrity? ultimately that's what peopla love about ali, because that is how he is, and not just fo show. he talks a lot of trash but he is genuine. add to that, he fought the best. he lost but he went up against the best.

 

You keep on dragging names of boxing's all time greats for what? only 2 reasons...either to discredit pac or bring up floyd....its just so sad that you have to stoop so low to do that...
