Pac fans, if Margarito was so good then how good is Floyd?

Mayweather's opponents at welterweight have been ranked higher than Pacquiaos. It's a fact so there is no reason to respond.

 

I have Gander on ignore, but I imagine his post was inaccurate as usual and I am sure he ducked the factual information that was provided in the thread.

And pac fought shane after floyd so if he was an old man when floyd fought him he was even more washed up when pac fought him. did floyd duck fighters? did he fight old men who had no chance to win? yes just like pac and every other great fighter has done at one time or another. dont act like clottey marg shane or even marquez (who everyone crushed floyd for fighting but now all of the sudden is a great pick for pac) has or had a chance to beat pac bc they are all hand picked just like floyds opponents.

 

Margo was never good skill-wise. The main concern for Pac in this fight was Margo's size.

Margarito is the only Mexican fighter I talked bad about, ever! The lie about Floyd ducking him and the plaster incident is just too much for me to forgive him or root for him, but ill keep on trying my best

be honest guys. Baldomir was brought in as a tuneup caliber opponent for Judah to set up the Mayweather fight. A journeyman. Judah lost his lineal title to a journeyman that he was supposed to walk through.

Margarito might not be an ATG but what he has always been is a major threat and what he has never been is a stepping stone or a stay-busy fight.

 

No Mayweather Jr. fan with half a brain knows that Ortiz has a puncher's chance and that's about it. Ortiz has no jab and is tailor made for FMJ. Kinda like Pac.

If Marg was a threat, Floyd should be the messiah. In turn, if Ortiz is a threat, so is Pac. Both Ortiz and Pac have no jab, crappy defense, aggression, and a puncher's chance.

 

The fact remains, that at the time, Baldomir beating Judah was a better win than anyone of Marg's resume. Marg is not a major threat, he got beat by one of the most hittable boxers ever in Paul Willism, and raped by Mosley and Pac. He was never a top level fighter, just one who was exciting becasue of the amount of punishment he could take.
