Pac fans, if Margarito was so good then how good is Floyd?

    The only threats that Margarito posed for Pac was the size advantage and a chance to bully Pac around by walking through his punches.
    And this clearly showed in round 6 of that fight (should've never showed if Pac fought more intelligently and less emotionally tho).

    FMJ is all too wrong for Pac.
    Pac is tailor made for FMJ -- on paper.
    That is why it's gonna be epic if Pac would triumph over FMJ.

    Whoever says Margarito is a greater threat to Pac than FMJ is clearly trolling and shouldn't be fed with valid rebuttals.

    first off the last sentence is opinion....just cuz ortiz is a threat does not mean pac is "an easy fight"...then again "*****s" as u put em havent' been on here CONSISTENTLY CLAIMING IT WOULD BE..

    As for the Ortiz fight...Victor is a young up and coming fighter..MOST fans/writers/boxing enthusiast feel this is no easy fight for Floyd..YOU MAY FEEL THIS WAY...BUT FACE IT..GOING AGAINST YOUR OPINION, THE FIGHT IS MUCH HARDER THAN SAY....ANTONIO MARGARITO, JOSHUA CLOTTEY, A DRAINED OSCAR AT 47 WHEN HE HASNT MADE THE WEIGHT IN 7 YEARS, OR EVEN A 44-1 HATTON WHO WAS ROCKED BY LAZCANO IN THE PREVIOUS FIGHT.....

    I have always said that either Pac or Floyd needs to fight a young up and coming fighter to get due credit as a whole...I ALWAYS THOUGHT IT WOULD BE MANNY THOUGH..Floyd fighting Victor is a result of the Berto fight...HAD BERTO WON WE WOULDA SEEN HIM AGAINST A YOUNG AND UNDEFEATED BERTO...

    I know what your saying...I'm simply asking pac fans how this is possible.

    NONE OF EM (THROUGH 4 PAGES) HAVE PUT UP A GOOD REBUTTAL AND THIS SHOWS THEY WERE JUST TROLLING...

    MOST OF EM WILL BOUNCE UP OUT WHEN THE FIGHT IS SIGNED ...THEY ARE HERE MAINLY TO ARGUE (OR TRY AND ARGUE AS MOST FOCUS ON INSULTING THE POSTER RATHER THAN THE ARGUMENT AT HAND) FOR THE SAKE OF ARGUING

    FLOYD KO PAC IN 9...NOT EVEN A HARD FIGHT..ESPECIALLY WHEN PAC IS "RUNNING IN"

    N DONT LET ME GET TO A "TECHNICAL DEBATE" CUZ THESE GUYS START MAKING THE MOST OFF THE WALL EXCUSES..FOR INSTANCE I TOLD ONE GUY "FLOYD'S ARMS ARE TOO LONG"....HE REBUTTALED "F U PAC HAS LONGER ARMS BIT3H"

    Funny, small man Marquez "calls Floyd out" and fight is made no problem. Margo has been calling Floyd out for some time and Floyd continues to ignore him. Floyd says he will retire after the first De La Hoya fight, but comes back to fight a smaller guy Hatton, then retires after beating him....you see a pattern here?

    FUNNY HOW U POST ON MY "SIDE NOTES"

    Pac would be an "easy"fight because he comes in "exposed" alot...

    I believe floyd would be able to counter pretty much as he pleased...when pac threw his "left right left right left" (keep in mind when he throws this he is way off balance) I believe floyd would be able to throw a straight right hand n sleep em..

    I apologize about the posts too.

    I would also like to say that you do bring some valid info and I respect you trying to debate this..I just don't see many facts to back your opinion my man!

    So are you saying Ortiz will be a tougher fight for Floyd than Pac? Or are you agreeing that Ortiz is gonna be easy pickings for Floyd?
    And Pac will only be an easy fight for Floyd on paper. Even Floyd knows that Pac will be hitting him like no one else has even if he does beat Pac. That's why Floyd is so hesitant to get in the ring with Pac.

    Floyd and Margarito are completely different and bring completely different things to the table. Not sure I see the comparison. I've always felt that Margarito at his best is a quality fighter even if his technical skills are not up to par.

    How do u respond to the post Marquez fight?

    I'm only pointing out that MOST fans (casual inclued) plus alot of writers said that floyd would not fight Shane because Shane was "too big" "had comparable speed" and was "able to box with floyd (up until the fight was signed this was said)....

    So how is it that from 9/09 (actually way before this dating back to 2006-Fans forget Floyd was on ESPN telling Shane he wanted the fight in 11/06 before he took on the top 154 lb fighter at the time in Oscar)........so from 9/09 until 2/2010 FLOYD MAYWEATHER IS "SCARED" OF SHANE...BUT ONCE SHANE ACCEPTS THE FIGHT (OR FLOYD ACCEPTS THE FIGHT, HOWEVER U WANNA LOOK AT IT)

    back to topic though..

    All im sayin is these pac fans(most) (mostly *******s-guys/girls who only pay attention to Manny and what is going on around Manny) said that Floyd was scared of Shane UP UNTIL FLOYD SIGNED..

    WHEN FLOYD SIGNED HE WAS CHERRYPICKING OLDER FIGHTERS ALL OF A SUDDEN..

    I'm not debating wether this happened or not man cuz it did happen and thats fact..

    what im debating is that these pac fans tried to say Tony was this hard fight.....then it comes time n he is garbage...

    SO IF TONY IS SUCH A HARD FIGHT FOR PAC (PER PAC FANS, BUT I SAID PAC WOULD BEAT HIM EASY) THEN WHY IS FLOYD SO EASY TO BEAT?

    I ASK BECAUSE WHEN YOU LOOK AT THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS, RECORD, RESUME, SKILLS, SPEED, PUNCH POWER (FLOYD CAN HIT YOU WHEN YOU DON'T SEE IT (LITERALLY), PAC FANS CONSIDER TONY THE BETTER FIGHTER..

    I AM SIMPLY ASKING THESE "PAC FANS" TO EXPLAIN HOW THIS IS..THE MAJORITY OF EM ON THIS FORUM TRY TO ARGUE THIS:deal

    IF Ortiz ends up "easy pickings" then i will think Floyd has improved in his fight game..

    as for pac...i see him being an easier fight cuz of his style....he is smaller than ortiz and he fights "off balance alot"..

    As for Floyd being "hesitant' I disagree..

    you CANNOT DISCREDIT THE ORIGINAL NEGOTIATIONS NOR CAN U DISCREDIT THE MEDIATOR WHEN HE SAID

    FACT- PAC RECENTLY SAID HE WOULD TAKE THE TESTS UP UNTIL THE DAY OF THE FIGHT..
