Bob Arum could have locked Mayweather up for fights with Margarito, Cotto, Hatton, and DLH.

Bob Arum is the one who nixed the deal. Anybody who thinks Mayweather ducked Margarito or Cotto is a complete idiot who is ignoring facts that are out in the open.

Bob Arum, in his interview with ESPN, was quoted as saying that he did not feel Mayweather was worth the money he would be investing, and let Floyd walk. Bob Arum also said a fight with Oscar was "not in the cards." If you want to question why Mayweather never fought Margarito and Cotto, I suggest you ask Bob Arum about his business decision to let Mayweather walk.

The fact is, Margarito is a Top Rank creation, he (Arum) wanted people to believe Floyd was ducking Marg because he knew Floyd was going to leave Top Rank and chase a DLH fight. So the best way to build Margs name is to claim that he is some fearsome guy who even the best don't want to fight (Floyd).

His win against Cotto is tainted, and he was exposed as being a C-class fighter when he got dominated by Shane...his name is hyped up on this board simply because Pac fought him, but by the time Pac got him he had already been exposed.
