are you referring to the pac that fights using only his left or the pac right now that uses both hands to knock anyone out?

It took him how many rounds to get the help of a ref's TKO vs traumatized and hurt Cotto? He didn't even finish defenseless, flat footed DLH who was standing there for the taking for 9 rounds.

Floyd has showed great recovery each time he's been buzzed, and it happened with Mosley who has more one punch KO power than emmanuel. If Floyd gets him into a clinch like he did with Mosley, then pac will even be easier to manhandle courtesy of being the smallest man at WW.

Emmanuel pacquiao had one punch ko power in the lower weight divisions, but he's no knock out artist @ 147. His finishing is average. This isn't Thomas Hearns we're talking about here.

Pac isn't going to stop the defensive wizard Floyd by via knockout artist style. He couldn't even do it against Cotto and Oscar.

Pac may have improved, but Marquez isn't even on the same level as $. He has to work for his KO by accumulation, and Floyd simply doesn't get caught often enough.

pac never once had oscar hurt.

as for cotto, pac only had around 3O secs at the end of the round 4 to do it.

like i said, being a great finisher doesnt mean u finish every fighter. you are selecting the few opponents that pac hasnt stopped. i dont wanna pursue the argument tho, hopefully we'll find out in the ring if may steps up.

I guess he's not that great of a finisher then. That 30 seconds is like 3x times the 10 seconds it took Floyd to regain composure after Mosley caught him.

what are u disputing here? i said pac is the best finisher. you pointed out that pac hasnt finished a few of his opponents. are you saying that great/best finishers have to stop all their opponents to be considered great finishers?

because if not, and leaving pac aside for a minute, then what is the point youre making about great finishers?

He builds his stoppages at welterweight by accumulation. He's not a knockout artist or insane finisher. Floyd doesn't get hit flush by consecutive shots, and pac couldn't finish guys who didn't even have Floyd's D. I don't see him catching someone like Hearns does below starting at 0:20.....

unless that guy's name is Amir Khan.

The only way is see Pacquiao KOing PBF is via lucky punch. PBF is just too defensively gifted, and I don't see anyone knocking him out. Down maybe, but not out...

...with that being said, I'm still picking Pac to win...7-5.

Another referee may have stopped the fight in the 1st round...not saying it should have been stopped, just saying...had that been another ref in there - say, Jay Nady - the fight possibly would have been stopped.

Yes. I agree with what you said below though:
If Floyd gets knocked down once, he's not going to let it happen again. He's too defensively gifted.

After watching round 2 of may/mosley i see pac just swarming may and using speed and angles to get the KO. I think alot of people are gonna be surprised at how pac will get through his defense. But just as i see pac knockin him out i could also see may ad******g and winning a decision. Pac also will throw much more punches and be moving much more than shane.

Okay, so as a Pacquiao fan, I admitted Mayweather is too defensively gifted to get KO'd by Pac - or anyone else within reason - at this stage of his career. Now I want to see some of you PBF fans to admit that PBF has just as slim a chance of knocking Pac out. He wouldn't dare to get aggressive enough to go for the knockout, he doesn't hit hard enough, and Pac isn't as easy to hit as people make him out to be...

...I'm not Nostradamus, but in my eyes, I can only see this fight going one of 2 ways...either a decision win for PBF, or a decision win for Pac. No knockouts.

Hard to do. I'm going to put a few bucks on PBF by KO. The odds will be nice for that.

Many fighters hit harder than Pac.

    IMO Cotto, Mosley hit harder.

But the difference is that Pac carries his power to the very last second of the fight and as many have mentioned, he hit from all kinds of weird angles.

Can he? Yes. Will he? Nobody will know for sure until they fight. But the possibility is there. The point here is that Pac is relentless, if he has Floyd hurt he's not going to stop like Shane did.
