Quick question if Roach is known as a great match maker and even admitted he picks fights he thinks they can win then why does everybody assume he would of beat Juan Diaz or Campbell. Because of Pac's recent rain we believe he would of killed Campbell, but the truth it Campbell wanted the fight and they did everything to make sure the fight didn't happen. Roach has said Pac's natural weight is 140, and at that time Campbell still had some fight left and could make 135 easy. So who's to say Campbell wouldn't have one? At that time he would of been favored. Plus he wouldn't have Ariza's power shakes on his side at that time. When other fighters move up in weight without fighting the best it's a duck, but he gets a pass, and people assume what a guy would of done do to how he is now. Look at every ATG's record and they have loses from no names from fights they where supposed to win. PS don't think I'm picking on PAC cause people think Floyd would of beat a Prime Cotto (pre Margo fight) because Mosley beat Margo and Floyd beat Mosley. If boxing was that simple we wouldn't need to watch we could just form a mathematical equation and determine the winner of every fight.
Pac hypothetically beats everyone at 135 and 140...even though he's only fought the weakest at both divisions.
Fail. Your entire post is nonsense. But to answer your question, hardcore Pac fans are always going to think he's going to win, as with hardcore Floyd fans. There's nothing you can say to either of them to change their views.
Any fighter can lose.. It all depends on that fighter, that night... But Pac should have beaten anybody at that weight, and you can only look at what he looked like against Diaz... And compare that to what everyone else who fought Diaz looked like.. Also look at ring wear, mentality, age and everything else that goes along with fighting...
Pac would've handed any lightweight of the last 10 years his ass. He only had one fight at 135 because he moved up to fight bigger challenges but the Pac that fought Diaz, Oscar, and Hatton was basically a lightweight who could easily have cut a few pounds to make 135 but didn't need to.
Pretty weak division. Not one of those guys had anything on Manny until Marquez moved up but by then he was already making the $$$ and legacy at 140 and 145/146.
