I don't really 'get' these Fighter of the Decade things. Calzaghe would have to have a serious shout at it, but Hopkins dominated the early part of the decade in very impressive fashion too. Pac has caught the attention of most over the last 3-4 years. However, if you'd lined up his last three opponents and asked ESB members 4 years ago if they thought Pac would have beaten DLH, Hatton and Cotto in the future - in the manner he has - I think most wouldn't have given him a chance. He is, undoubtedly, the best fighter of the decade. If he gets to fight Mayweather, and pulls the win off, I would probably have him in my Top 3 of all time. I think it is sometimes difficult to recognise a truly elite fighter when you're watching them in their era, live. But I think that is what we have with Pac - a fighter you'd wish was still around in 15-20 years and who you'll tell stories of - and few will believe you when you tell them just how good he was.
pac is a fighter....he fights.....win or lose....and that's all there is to it.....all ATG's have that in common.......unlike some boxer who call themselves.....fighter.....and pac dont give **** even if he's last on the list.....
