Interesting thought, but it will never happen. Roach has said that he does not want Pacquiao to fight Mosely because of his size and considerable skill.

where did you hear this? i'm sure roach is concerned about mosley's size since he comes in at around 160 while pac weighed 148 during his last fight. that's why they're asking for a catchweight to somewhat compensate for the very large disparity in size/weight. i sure didn't hear roach say that he doesn't want pac to fight mosley due to mosley's considerable skill though.

but i think pac may end up fighting cotto instead at around 143-144 this october.

Roach never said that. That's just not something Roach would say. Maybe 4 yrs back but not recently otherwise Floyd would fit that "Bill". Floyd is masterfuly skilled and bigger.

Cmon now Pac is the man why would he wait for the winner of The Marquez fight when they announced it 1 day before the biggest fight of the year.

Pac would be crazy to wait that long and to stay inactive for so long. He's knocked out his last 3 opponents and the last fight only went two he needs to keep in the ring and stay busy and keep his self from getting rusty or lazy.

pac's not going to fight that soon anyway.

the marquez fight is foreplay to bigger things - if floyd wins.

you can't "duck" someone who just fought.....

Pacquiao eyes Mayweather fight in October Sun May 3, 10:17 pm ET

PACQUIAO PLANS FAMILY VACATION IN AUSTRALIA
    Posted on 26 May 2009
Key advisers in the Pacquiao camp have indicated they would prefer that Pacquiao waits for the results of the July 18 showdown between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Juan Manuel Marquez and fight the winner which most analysts claim should be the bigger Mayweather Jr.
www.insidesports.ph, Standard Today and Viva Sports learned that Pacquiao would rather wait for the results of the Mayweather-Marquez fight before making a decision on a planned October 17 bout. We also learned that Pacquiao was “not interested” in fighting Cotto neither did he want to fight in New York’s Madison Square Garden, preferring Las Vegas as a venue.

Floyd has all the advantages, but don't underestimate Marquez. It's wrong to completley dismiss him when people say in one breath that Marquez beat Manny..... and that Manny will beat Floyd, but then say Floyd will automatically DESTROY Marquez? It don't sound right.

the weight is the issue. at 130 or 135 marquez would have a better chance, but marquez is not a weight jumping phenom like pac.
