Knuckle...I dont have the proof. All I have is my memory, which could be wrong/right. So for that, I apologize.

You sitting here telling me that it doesn't matter which versions of Oscar Floyd and Manny beat is basically a Jim Kelly quote to Mr. Hahn.

There is always a bit of relevance when there's time and weight in between fights but 1 yr removed and a completely dominant performance speaks for itself. pac moving up 2 divisions to fight a bigger man has to be taken into account just like the odds before the actual fight took place.

    Fixed.

How is an undefeated champion at 147 which is closer to his natural weight, a better version after he is beaten and struggles at an even lower weight? Clearly Floyd fought the better version of Hatton.

As far as the more impressive win against Mosley, Pac's win is only more impressive if you enjoy watching ballroom dancing and foot races. :hi:

pacquiao was more impressive against oscar and hatton/ floyd is more impressive with marquez and maybe mosley.

2-2 but mosley could be a tie since pacquiao did knock mosley down and made him run the entire fight after that but you could argue that hatton is also a tie since floyd stopped him also and it only came so late because of styles.

Throwing Joshua Clottey on the list is a bit of a reach.

    :good Exactly!

This is all really irrelevant. Pacquiao will always seem more exciting and likely do more damage because he is more aggressive. He is willing to take punches to give them, and will come out looking like he was just in a fight.

Mayweather is more slick and defensive, so he will always make the work seem easier, and come out of the fight virtually untouched.

It just depends on what you like as a boxing fan. If you want to see brutal exchanges and KOs; then you're likely to get that with a Pac fight.

If you're a fan of the sweet science; then you'll see it with a Floyd fight.

Pretty much why it's no reason to participate in these type of threads... 90% of the time you get people who like/dislike a certain fighter/style and vote based off that..

Mosley fight I changed it to equal or either, which is what I meant. I understand fans have different appreciation levels towards different types of dominance due to their personal preference/bias. Both dominated Mosley, pitched near shutouts. Mayweather with his boxing leaving Mosley confused most of the fight, Pac with his power leaving him tentative to throw most of the fight. Mosley frustrated Pac more by moving and running after tasting his power, but he had the better success against Floyd landing those big rights early which wobbled him. Hard to split, when you take everything into account

Hatton fight I disagree. I'll put Hatton's unbeaten 140 career and his fights leading up to the Pac fight anyday against his close win over Collazo at 147 and his fights before the Floyd fight. Not that it matters, if Hatton was better at 147 in the Mayweather fight it wasn't by much (Castillo, Urango compared to Malignaggi, Laczano leading up to both fights were very similar level of W's) and the nature of Pac's victory gives him the clear edge regardless.
