Pac: Floyd wants no part of me!

    Manny Pacquiao, Boxing's pound for pound champion, is currently training for his upcoming fight with Shane Mosley on May 7th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, Pacquiao revealed that the reason he is fighting Mosley now is because he couldn't get a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. On Tuesday, Pacquiao told BoxScoreNews.com that he believes Mayweather Jr. is "ducking" him.

    "I really want to fight Floyd Mayweather but it is obvious that he wants no part of me because he is ducking every way to fight me so that is why I am fighting Shane now,"

    Pacquiao's comments do merit validity as it appears that Pacquiao and his team have done just about everything to secure a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Just 2 weeks ago, Team Pacquiao offered Floyd $50 million guaranteed to fight Manny and, according to Manny's adviser Michael Koncz, Floyd rejected it.

    If Pac would have agreed to testing the first time we would have had the fight instead of Pac-Clottey.

    I love how the story changes over time.

    First it was:

    "Pac ruined the fight because he didn't meet floyd's compromise of 14 days!!"

    Then when Pac came around to the 14 days:

    "Floyd's in the driver's seat now.... 14 days isn't good enough! Take the test up to the fight!"

    Now pac is on record numerous times saying he will test up to the fight:

    "Pac ruined the fight by not accepting the terms the first time around!!!"

    There was an even easier way. Just make the fight the way you made your first 40 fights. The OSDT is the main issue here. Had Floyd never pulled this stunt, we would probably be seeing the rematch by now! :deal

    Floyd is scared... Pac has never failed a drug test. So he has come up in weight! So did Maywether. He knows how much money is on the table . Uncle Roger and that crackhead dad of his do not dictate drug testing the commision does...Its all smoke and mirrors. This fight could save boxing.....

    How is it fake anyway? wasnt this done 2 days after pacs interview on boxing radio? :think

    It doesnt sound like something pac would say though.. unless he really is just sick of the fmj questions :twisted:
