Pac is the best at his way of fighting. Floyd is the best at his way. Floyd's style just likely cancels out Pac's out.

People act like Calz was in his prime. ****, 36 is very old for the style he had.

I highly disagree. You could say the exact opposite. Pac's got a style to give Floyd fits. Their both polar opposites.

IMO, a more traditional, speedy boxer like Sugar Ray Leonard would cause Pac a lot more problems then a cagey, defensive counter puncher like Floyd.

Yeah they are clinging to this as their ready made excuse.

But does it mean Pacquiao shouldn't take full credit for beating the guys at 130 who he outweighed come the night of the fight?

He was coming in at 145 at Super Featherweight on fight night! Now we're supposed to buy the small excuse now he's moved up 3 divisions?:huh

He also weighed more on the night of the fight when he beat Diaz at Lightweight than Mayweather did when he beat Judah at Welterweight.

I'm not saying pac isn't great but he won't win anymore than 3 rounds in this fight. hes great but he's just not in Floyd's league and is at an extreme stylistic disadvantage.

well I totally disagree. I think your vastly underrating Manny Pacquiao's skills and ability. Your gonna be very shocked at how competitive this fight is, in fact Manny way very well dominate.

    its more not moar.

And I never said Pac was drained against Marquez. you Pac haters are the ones changing your minds. Cotto is drained at 145, Hatton is drained at 140, but Pac is as big as Floyd but he is not drained at 130. Make up your minds.

Pac is as big as Floyd who couldn't make 144, yet 145 is a huge advantage for Pac against Cotto? Who keeps changing their minds?

I guess you can look at it that way. But so far, Floyd always shuts down the other guy's offense, a la Hopkins.

stfu bruh, Trinidad's resume was the truth. Be what you think about their h2h talents, Trinidad's power took care of the rest... He is among the hardest welterweight punchers in history. Get all worked up about Pacquiao's blitzing speed, but HOF fighters find ways to win against great fighters. Anyone would have thought Morales would have had a chance against Pacquiao after Pacquiao beat the ****in **** out of Barrera and nearly ko'd Marquez in the 1st round? I sure as hell picked Morales to upset Pacquiao in their first fight because I knew Morales was the goods. Don't underestimate great fighters you ****ing madman.

I don't see how anyone could think Trinidad is better than Pacquiao. I think Pacquiao beats a prime Tito up too. Just far too much speed and accuracy.

thats true, but he's never met an offense like Pacquiao. And stick in the southpaw factor and that's trouble. If they were same height/reach , I wouldn't even give Floyd a 50/50 shot. That's just my opinion.

You gotta understand, Floyd isn't the same guy he was back at lightweight/super feather. He's fights completely safety-first now, and looks to avoid damage more then dish it out. He's abandoned throwing combinations, and he doesn't use the jab very much anymore either. Look at the problems Zab Judah gave him offensively. If Floyd fights a safety first, scared-to-be-hit fight, then he's going to lose, mark my words.

Never underestimated Tito. Tito was a great fighter, but not as great as Pac. That's just the truth.

I figured Morales could give Pac some trouble when Pac fought him because Pac was moving up in weight after only 3 fights at 126 and going for one of the best in the division right off the bat.

by the way I've thought about this same exact analogy many many times before and I've told many Pac fans that Pacquiao's amazing run could end in a similar fashion. But I don't think that Mayweather can exploit Pacquiao to that degree. The way they match up and the consistency in Pacquiao's foot movement makes sure that we see the fight go a full 12 rounds.

Gamboa's analysis of the fight was that Pacquiao will win exchanges if they do happen, but Mayweather will control the distance and win the fight if its kept at a distance. I agree 100% with him.
