pac gets no credit...

    for making his own comeback in the 1st jmm fight.

    everyone, rightly, praises jmm for getting back into the fight after the 1st round. there is no doubt he won rounds 3-6, probably 7 as well. definitely outboxed pac, beautifully countering lunging lefts with precision rights. this is where jmm huggers/pac haters seem to have stopped watching the fight (the basis of their "jmm outboxed pac after the 3kd round" statements).

    BUT, pac took the foot of the gas in round 7, simply bouncing around and picking his shots. jmm still landed a couple in this round but nowhere near as well as in the previous 4 rounds. this round slowed marquez's momentum and by the next round, pac was tagging jmm with the left again with great regularity which greatly reduced jmm's right. the rounds were closer than 3-6, but there is no doubt pac won rounds 8-12, except for the 11th.

    so, despite being a one handed fighter at the time, he was able to make his own adjustments mid-fight, which deserves more credit than i've seen given on esb - to pac or to roach.

    i know jmm nuthuggers/pac haters are gonna say "stfu *******, you don't know boxing!" but listen to manny steward's commentary in the last couple of rounds. he had been praising jmm all night - even when jmm hit thin air - and largely ignoring pac's work after rd 1, but in the 11th he was pretty resigned "if only those 3 knock downs didn't happen, this fight would've been even more dramatic." at the very least, this boxing expert saw it as a lot closer than moronic imbeciles [redundance intended] who say jmm simply outboxed pac after round 1.

    I just watched this fight recently.
    JMM did pretty much outbox Pac after teh 2nd round.
    I dont remember my scorecard but if it wasnt for those 3 kds that would have been a very onesided fight. I think JMMs mistake is he understimated Pac's power in that first round.

    another *******...dude credit for getting a draw with a man that was knocked down 3 times into the 1st two minutes in rd 1 is not deserving...

    You asked why Pac gets no credit???? WTF?? Some of you dumbasses rank him in the top 20, some of you ******ed asses rank him in the top 5, and worse some of you vegetable rank him #1 ATG!! :rofl

    Now for the pwnage. :D

    Pac is ranked very high for doing something that has been done multiple times by fighters who arent even in the top 50, and have been done better.

    I'll use ODLH as a prime example. I don't even rank DLH top 40, yet some of you *******s have Pac top 20. Lets see how ******ed, no, better yet, how *******ed that is.

    Hell, I'm not even going to start over, I'm just going to post my classic pwnage of snell, Bability, Philla, and Knives7. It will be the next post....See you at the end of that post moron.

    Now after reading it, tell, me how in the world can rate Pac in the top 20 when a fighter who isn't even top 40 has accomplished more, and against better opposition.

    Yes it did. Funny thing too, pretty much the same thing happened in the rematch. Pacquiao just kept going back to his left and it kept working. People don't talk about that.. That shot is one of the best weapons in the history of this game.
