On the contrary, Beristain will train JMM to use offensive tactics mixed with defence. This is a boxer of the highest caliber, don't forget that. Of course JMM is not going to brawl, he will used intelligent offense. We already saw a more patient Pacquiao in the Barrera rematch, which is the good thing that came out that fight for Marquez, he got to see this other side of Pacquiao.

Expect JMM to land that last punch when he gets closer to MP. It should be a very good fight. :yep

Watch the noobs get orgasms now. :rofl
It's only sparring, it's made to test things out and try stuff you would or even would not do in the ring, it's practice. It is not a "challenge" in there for a professional.

Of course BERISTAIN will. He is very well known and proven to a very tactical trainer . . . but not the full offensive one.

JMM wasn't even able to be on full offensive against MAB how would we expect him to be succesful against Pac who moves around while waiting for his openings.

Probably the trainer could have made him more aggressive and exciting long time ago so he could have made more money. Coz boxing fans in not looking for so called intellegence in the boxing ring. Boxing fans are looking for excitment, toe to toe instances not so much looking forward to a boring fight and paying so much to see some amazement and intelligence of some boxers...

anyway going back to the topic.. "intellegent offense" is the NEW term to use coz instead of using AVOIDING TOE TO TOE :hey :good JMM and Baristain KNOWS its going to be an EARLY NIGHT for boxing fans so at least they KNOW their LIMITATIONS :hey :hey.

"Intellegent offense" is synonymous in saying... we are not CRAZY mixing it up with PAC, we will just to the usual, HIT.. then run run run run. HIT run run run...

You are know talking like DIVAC who likes to play with words.. I'm telling you, the way Divac describes JMM he seems to be the second GREATEST BOXer of all time...

TOO Bad EVERYTIME he does not like the results. He is QUICK to claim JMM is robbed... So much for the greatest boxer of all time :hey

Anyway, I hope you are not included in the list which claims the JMM is actually ROBBED 3X's already?!?

Silvermags, sometimes, well most of the time you act like a complete noob. I am sorry but thats how it is.

It is obvious to everybody that JMM will not go toe to toe, he is not a brawler and will not brawl. He is a technician. Going on the offensive intelleginetly is a very different. For example, the fight last Saturday, Quintana was constantly moving, trying to find the openings that Williams had and punished him for almost every one, and note, his was not brawling, but its not just that, he was making openings through his movement and finding all the sweet spots for his left hand. That is an example of intelligent offense. Movement, creating spaces, countering, etc.

I have not seen JMM's pro debut and the Norwood fight, since no footage is of them is available on the net, so I can't make an assessment on those. The CJ fight was obviously a robbery, only those who hate on Marquez simply because he is Marquez feel otherwise. And of course, JMM should have gotten the nod in the first fight with Pac, but I go with the draw, which is exactly why this fight had to be made.

Good to hear you are not part of the die hard fans that jmm was robbed in the last fight with PAC.

Anyway, it was just a teaser that JMM will hit then run run run. :hey
I know JMM is an intelligent boxer. I hope he fights an EXCITING fight!
You know what i mean. If he DOES NOT fight like what MAB did. "Just to SURVIVE mode". It's going to be a boring fight. All HYPE NO Action!!!!

:rofl :rofl :rofl to some of the diehard Pac fans on this thread.....to actually think and want to dare JMM to fight Pac toe to toe.

.....its like asking Mayweather Jr. to go toe to toe in an all out brawl with DLH!

:nono No no friends.....JMM will box, counterpunch, disect, and if the opportunity presents itself later in the fight....open up on a fading Pac who by then may be getting a grade A shellaking.

For those of you who have'nt followed the sport long enough....its a process when it comes to skilled fighters of the highest caliber.
.....they box, they surgically disect, they work.....and when their boxing plan has come full circle and taken its toll on the prey....thats when they go into attack mode and pounce!:yep

If you're a boxing fan, its beautiful to watch....if you're a Pac fan and this scenario unfolds, the process is going to be so agonizing you'd which Pac would have gotten KTFO earlier so that you would'nt have to go through the process of watching a systematic beatdown that would have the Pac fans going through pure torture!

Thats the bittersweet part about this fight. I feel for the Pinoy fan that love Manny Pacquiao, they're going to have to go through the mental torture of watching Manny Pacquiao get surgically disected!

I think what worries the Pac fans the most in this fight is that they know deep inside that unlike MAB, JMM will fight to win every step of the way!
I believe you know that as well Silvermags!:yep

On the contrary I'm not worried. I'm more excited coz you believe that JMM will not fight " Just to survive mode " :yep. If he does, it's going to be boring correct? and we all know who is to blame correct?!!!!?

He would not reach this status if he is a boring or runner, right?!?:hey :hey

HERE YOU GO AGAIN DIVAC! You talk as if this this is going to happen. If you are so CONFIDENT it will happen WHY DON'T YOU PUT practice what you preach?! :deal :deal. You know very well what I mean?
If a boxer wins who ever loses can still log in for a day, one week, one month? Let me know what you want? I'll agree on it!

You know very well what I mean.
    I mean what I say...
    I say what I mean...

    Now, in your case ...

    you say this...
    but in action...in practice :huh
    you do otherwise :good
    Get my point?!

I can put what I say in PRACTICE! :deal

So EVERYTIME YOU SAY SUCH THINGS but can't back up on what you are saying..........when I say back up I mean, put it in practice.........the less RESPECT I have for you as a boxing fan!

AT THE END OF THE DAY..
    IT IS VERY SIMPLE.
IF YOU TRULY BELIEVE ON WHAT YOU ARE SAYING...
    PUT IT IN PRACTICE. OK?!

So wether I'm talking to DIVAC or Mr X. That person who is in this situation will be called a chicken forever!

So like I said.. based on your words and your action.
    PAC WIN OR LOSE
    JMM WIN OR LOSE

Based on your what happened pre-fight YOU ARE A CHICKEN!
You still have a chance to change your mind!

I hope courage to ACT ON WHAT YOU BELEIVE is part of your vocabulary!

In their first fight JMM survived by circling to Pac's right to avoid the dreaded left. Now Pac's right hand carries the same power as his left. He had used it effectively against Morales in their second and third fights. If JMM has the same Mexican pride as Morales and chooses to engage he will be hurt by that right and he will not get up this time.

But if he choose to run it might be a different story.

JMM's boxing IQ is about 50 points higher than Pac's.

Pac relies on power, JMM relies on skill. If JMM can neutralize Pac's power it's all JMM.

Btw, JMM was able to neutralize Pac's power after round 1 of their first fight so I'm pretty confident a better prepared JMM will be able to do it again.:good
