I agree, its ridiculous. Assuming someone knows what someone is putting in his hands is FAR FAR different from just assuming someone is on drugs without any evidence whatsoever.

Person A: Your trainer put something in your hand, was it a brick or a soap?
    Person B: I dunno....
Person A: You must know what the **** was in your hands!

Person B: Errrr, you're on drugs...
    Person A: No I'm not...
Person B: You must be....because a former crack addict and a woman beater said so.

As for Pac admitting the catchweight is to his advantage...well duh.

Like I said, a 154lb Margo is better than a 150lb Margo. However, A 150lb Margo is better than a 147lb Margo. A 147lb Margo beat Cotto and Cintron and was champ for 6 years.

Simply put, Pac could have fought Margo at 147lb but because he wants a title, he's gonna fight a better Margarito.

Bare in mind Pac weighed in at 146 last week, to who's advantage is that? Do you think Pac would be asking for catchweights if he was infact weighing 154 himself?

  3. Pac's 5' 6", Margarito's 5' 11". Margarito's fought mostly at welterweight. People act like Pac's fighting at 147 at LMW and completely ignores the fact that Pac has to add pounds too.

    :patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch

Exactly. There is nothing wrong with the catch-weight itself.

Pac's answer to the catchweight question is interesting because it indicates
that Roach/Pac demanded the catchweight because they tried to tilt everything
in their favor. The fact that Pac claims it's an advantage to him says it all.

There are not many journalist willing to ask the tough question nowdays.
That journalist should be applauded for doing his job.

The question was legit and pertinent, and Pac's response to it was embarrasing.

What the question was suggesting was that Manny was making an insinuation that Margarito knew his hands were loaded......
......that journalist was askiing Pac to explain the difference between he insinuating that Margarito must have known, and that of himself where he (Pac) does not want the public to insinuate that he's a PED user for refusing to random test of both blood and urine.

Who the **** is Pac to say that Margarito must have known, when he (Pac) has never seen or felt the illegal knucklepad in question?????

Listen up *******s. If Pacquiao were to have said, "I have seen and felt the knucklepad in question, and as a fighter, I'm telling you all, Margarito knew. There is no way he did'nt know."

.......but thats not the situation were dealing with here is it *******s????
Pac has neither seen or felt those knucklepads, and there are actual people who have, that have gone on record as stating, "its very possible Margarito did'nt know.".....including the man who first discovered those illegal knucklepads, Nazim Richardson.

The question was legit, and as custom, Pacquiao comes out of it looking like a complete guilty ridden clown.

.....how anyone even a ******* can with a straight face defend Pacquiao's embarrasing responses is beyond me.
Everytime Pac opens his mouth, he further incriminates himself.

Catchweight is an invention of a genius. That's the reason we got to watch exciting fights.
