against a human punching bag who had no intentions of hitting Pac. His face looked worse after the fight than Clottey. This has to be concerning to Roach. Think what would happen against accurate puncher like Mayweather or a boxer/puncher like Mosley. Both are bigger guys that would throw lasers at Pac's reckless defense. This is the type of fights Arum and Roach want for Pac. I said it long before the negotiations with Floyd broke down, Arum and Roach have no intention of making that fight with Floyd happen. Why, when they can beat up washed up has beens or punching bags and maintain a cash cow for years.

True. If he fights the right opponent, this will be exploited.

It was a near shutout. 12 rounds to 0 and 11 rounds to 1 twice

More of a shutout than PBF vs Marquez

pretty typical from the 17 acne faced Pac fans. Try putting sentence together and using some intelligence. Oh yea, if you had that type of logic you would question why your god turned down 35M not to take a drug test. Now tuck in your lil gold chain into your mesh tank top and be an adult.

They are equal in the shutout department.

Lets not forget, Pac basically split with Marquez and Clottey wasnt a willing participant. May shut out a guy who won more rounds against Pac.

People are so black and white.

    - either a fighter is one-dimensional or highly technical. No various layers in-betweens.
    - either a fighter has no defense or very defensive.
    - when a fighter is a pressure type of fighter, he has no timing. Timing is reserved to the counter puncher types.

    Newsflash: there are gray areas.

These wannabe analyst should all jump off the cliff like lemmings and do us all a favor.

Back on topic: Pac wants to give the fans their money's worth why he opens up a bit to setup a trap for Clottey to exchange so fans will enjoy. If you notice him when he sticks to the game plan, in those moments he's so flawlessly sharp with his routine to the point Clottey held up his hands for half the round, Pac not being hit at all.

anyone who knows about boxing, knows that the jmm who fought floyd is not the jmm who fought pac at 126 and 130. and floyd cheated jmm on the scales after dragging jmm's bloated ass up to 144.

Alts are coming out of the woods. Anyway, let's all kneel and bow our heads and pray to Lord Floyd....

Pac spent a lot of time standing right in front of Clottey with his hands down trying to bait Clottey into hitting him.

If he'd wanted to avoid getting hit, he could have, but he's a not a safety first fighter like Mayweather.

PAC was getting hit clean and that is because clottey is strong.

Mayweather would have to deal with:

    1-relentless workrate
    2-fast hands
3-punches from various angles = mad combinations
    4-power packed into fast hands

PAC man would have to deal with:

1-excellent defence which is not stationary like clottey's
    2-accurate/counter puncher
    3-speed
    4-skills (more than clottey anyways)

It is more of an intriguing fight but will pbf come through mosley?

To Be Honest manny did look hurt after the 12th round
he had took some big shots ....but not many with plenty time to
    recover between them

but he looked hurt and couldnt really enjoy the victory !

i think floyd will beat him to the punch then move ALL NIGHT :deal

manny looks slower and more hit able at 147

at 140 i'd give manny a good chance ofbeating floyd

i think people will be shocked at how many shots floyd lands on pac

manny is a great athelete not disputing that .....BUT

he looked invincible against a exhausted oscar and cotto
a shot hatton and a slow limited clottey

floyds footwork will be the difference ?????

JUST THE WAY I SEE IT I COULD BE WRONG :think
