"Inaasahan kong magiging makasaysayan at makabuluhan ang labang ito dahil nagyayabang na si Dela Hoya na nagsasabi na patutulugin daw niya ako sa loob ng limang round. Isa lang ang masasabi ko diyan. Ako rin ay may malaking sorpresa para sa kanya sa araw ng laban at ang aking mga kamao na lang ang magsasalita para sa akin dahil hindi ko gawain na gumawa ng paghuhula kahit hindi pa natatapos ang laban."

    Trans:
De La Hoya is being cocky and had been trashtalking saying he will knock me out in 5 rounds. There's only one thing I can say, I have a big surprise in store for him, my fist will do the talking on fight night...

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he makes it to the 6th.

I think Pacquiao is believing what Freddie is saying, and is actually going into the fight to win.

Manny's best chance at beating Oscar is by running and pot shotting, but when have you ever seen Manny run? It isn't going to happen.

He'll stand and trade, get caught with a left hook counter, do a dance, and it's all over.

Wouldn't you be pissed if somebody bigger than you said they were gonna knock you out in embarrassing fashion?

I dont think neccisarily. I have a suspicion DLH could go easy on him, basically a glorified sparing session and then hire him to GBP.

If DLH really fights then its an easy KO for him. Sometimes it seems like DLH doesnt really try, for example the Forbes fight it looked like he was going easy on him, DLH should have been able to KO Forbes.

Why the **** dos everyone makes Oscar the biiiiggge favorit here - look at there records!!! Oscar won 39 (KO 30) lost 5 (KO 1) and Pac 47 Wins (35 by Knockout), 3 Loses, 2 Draws!!!

Think Oscar will be out of the historie books after this fight - he's going down;). Dont think many will agree, so hit me:)))).

DLH is the stronger , bigger guy and he might win, but it's not that easy for him to K.O Pac. I still believe that Pac will give him a good fight till the end of fight...And Pac had a chance though, little chance but still.. we'll see..

    I'll go easy on you.

Pacquiao's record is very impressive. He has beat and stopped the likes of Barrera and Morales, the two greatest Mexican's of their generation.

But not only were both fighters past their prime, they were fights taking place below 135.

This fight is at 147, and Oscar has knocked out natural Welterweights with his left hook on more than one occasion. He has even fought as high as 154, whereas Pacquiao hasn't gone beyond 135. The disparity in size will be evident when they are both standing toe to toe, and the smaller Pacquiao who has been hurt by featherweights, will feel the power.

    Oscar by knockout.

Look at the height and weight of both fighters, that is why oscar is the 'biiiiggge' favourite as you say.

And people are forgetting that Oscar, even now, is not a John Ruiz. Oscar is a good boxer with good power and fast hands.

If the two were the same size, I still think Oscar would win.
