I agree with your points, all valid....but if your HBO, and pacquiao is pretty much an HBO guy...malignaggi is a semi-HBO guy now.....

Coupe that with malignaggi's accusations....malignaggi's presence on 24/7,Pacquiao's fan base hatred for paulie....and like you said, arum is thinking maybe they can re-hash the mayweather talk at another date.....then malignaggi is a suitable tune-up....I think malignaggi-pacquiao can do better at the box office then some think...and will have way more sells then yuri foreman...does that guy speak english, not to sound rude, but where is the promotional hype with that guy?

Hey Freddy, I heard there's a new best seller at Barnes & Noble called "The love Chronicles of Freddie and Margarito: My Lust for El Macho Cheeto."

Showing? Are you serious? Where's Floyd? We haven't heard him personally talking about this issue. Floyd is hiding in the skirts of Shaefer and Ellerbe.

I thought Floyd is his own man as what he constantly claimed.

Here's a local news report about the fight, last December 24.

    [yt]zEnne8tmEoI[/yt]

I'll translate the part in Tagalog..

MP: "I think he's devising a plan.. or maybe this is his strategy to.. make me angry.. to distract my concentration for the fight.. or maybe he's nervous."

reporter: Do you still hope that this fight pushes though?

MP: "For me, it's no problem.. For me, if he wants to fight, the two of us will fight. But if he's a bit nervous, maybe he should build up his self confidence a bit more."

Arum has a history of being HBO's renegade, if HBO wont give him a good deal he'll go out on his own and make his own PPV. I seriously doubt they give Malinaggi a 24/7 considering that Hatton/Malinaggi wasnt even worthy for a countdown. The Forman fight is no spectacle either, and in both cases only Pacquiao is what would sell both events. The Malinaggi fight may be for real, but to me it looks pretty obvious Arum is using him as a ploy to put the pressure on Mayweather, that they have other options.

You miss the point. If he dont give it during training camp, he can get away with cheating. If that is indeed what he is doing. The urine test aint picking it up.

He needs at least 1 random test during training camp. or what's the point of giving blood. He has a 30 day window to POSSIBLY CHEAT.

Roach said pac needs a 5 day cut off window. Now pac is saying he needs a 30 day cut off window.

    WOW

How about the last blood test, post fight?

If the commission sees PED or steroids traces in the sample, he will be stripped of the title, lose his license and banned from the sport.

And probably not receive his share of the purse.

    What's wrong with that?

Timothy Bradley should have been the right backup plan. Not Mag ***.

Bradley has earned it, Magfag has not.

His demand clearly has. And he knew it would.

He's won the mental fight with Pac already.

And the fight is bigger now than it was before. And in Floyd's favour too, as a large portion of the general public and media will be on side regarding the drug testing.
