A few will still be on Floyd's back, yes. The majority? No, they'll take Floyd's side.

And this is the media that has not always been too friendly to ole Floyd either.

    Strange, that.

Thats what I meant. Floyd wouldnt get a support of any media even if he was clearcut in the right. Now, hes getting buried once Arum unleashes his PR guys.

    :huh

If what I said it what you meant, then you agree that the majority of the media will be on Floyd's side. Maybe an article or two here or there otherwise, but in general.

And that Floyd has done his part of hyping this fight, which has yet to even be signed, by his demand. Look at the outburst on this forum alone as evidence.

Good to know you agree. :good

What the **** are you talking about......Pac is not going to be asked to give Urine everyday........

......and from what I understand, Pacquiao is only being asked to give blood three times........

The disagreement here is that Pacquiao wants to know exactly when those blood tests will be administered, and team Mayweather wants those blood tests to be random.

I'm no expert, but people who have used performance enhancers before have said that they can beat any test if they know ahead of time when they will be tested.

Yep, he dictates his own terms.

    Got a problem with that?

The only problem here is Pacquiao's tarnished legacy and your insistance that legitamate drug testing is bad for boxing.

If there was a better way of testing at the time he took those tests, yes, they were illegitamate.
There is certainly a chance that Marquez could have doped for any of his fights and passed the current doping test thats given by most boxing commisions today.

Not Marquez or any fighter is exempt from the possibility that he could have cheated a doping test!
You're absolutely correct Patsys, congratulations, you got one right for once!:good

    And don't forget "fraction there-of"

Pacquiao is probably my favourite boxer at the moment but the blindness of his fans irates me, they're getting worse than Klitschko fans.

The overweight clause is ridiculous considering this fight is at 147 but not a peep about this. Floyd seems to have made one demand (which considering he is jointly the No.1 Marquee name in the sport is a credit to him) that Pacquiao submits for blood tests and you have Pacquiao willing to throw away a fight of this magnitude because of it.

He wants a test 30 days before the fight and then one after it or it'll affect him mentally?

Even after we have seen him take a blood test on the 24/7 show without a hint of concern?

    :huh:think

I agree....although I'd rather see Floyd step up it's obvious he really doesn't want this fight. Paulie is looking for a pay day and I'm sure he deosn't think he'll be able to beat Manny.

If they present their case for a change in policy it will be for the benefit of all boxers. IF this is all about fair play and sportsmanship, then they should make their request with NSAC.

Easy way out?, check out his last three opponents, are those easy way out?/ Pac was ready for the fight, he's not the one that demanded new set of rules for one fight. They even tried to renegotiate, the other side wanted none of it.

Actually you make an excellent point. Paulie is very slick and skilled....not as talented and as sharp as Floyd but still a stylistical resemblence to Floyd. PAC should be able to dispose of Paulie fairly easily b/c he's not going to be stronger but he'll give PAC a nice look at what he might see in spots from Floyd....if the fight ever happens which I hope! Great perspective though Jeff.
