Pac had 1 arm vs. Floyd and didn't get stopped. Pac with 2 arms would've destroyed Floyd, just look what an amateur boxer was doing to Floyd in the first 3 rounds, landing shots with ease till he gassed.
Pac having one arm is now Floyd's fault? That goes to show how much confidence Pac has in his abilities. Unfortunately Pac was up against a very good fighter in Floyd. An injury free Pac would definitely be a more interesting fight, but I can't say Pac destroys Floyd or even wins. At this stage in their careers both are getting hit a lot more then when they were in their prime. Could still be an entertaining fight just the same.
I personally don't deny that Pac had a bad shoulder, I think its pretty evidence and is corroborated with medical testimony of there being a 'significant tear'. It was a low output affair, he didn't use his bad shoulder as much as Floyd used his 'bad shoulder' (for which there is no medical evidence for) during the first Castillo fight. This is undeniable fact. Given I had it 116-112 and that was the dominant scorecard of the judges in a fight that was won by a light jab or one punch per round, can I envisage even a semi-shot Pacquiao with two good enough arms at least drawing with Mayweather? Absolutely. For this reason, I actually give a prime Pac a 55-45 advantage over Mayweather (I always favoured Mayweather before MayPac15, even in their primes - MayPac15 changed that). I am YET to engage with a Floyd supporter who is willing to address these points without immediately saying 'Pac lost and he didn't have a bad shoulder, holy water healed him you believe that' etc. At the end of the day, Pac showed up to the fight and lost. It's a win for Floyd.
We can all play that game. McGregor had 0 pro fights and did better than Pacquiao and HE DIDNT MAKE LAME EXCUSES. He actually gave credit to Floyd. Pac like always had an excuse made up in the post fight conference (no mention of it during the fight or post fight interview). McGregor would KTFO Pac. Pac can't even beat a school teacher HEHE
