    Illegal or legal loaded gloves i think it will not change the fight. It's not even close. Discrediting other fighter does not make your fighter look better. Just move on. There are lot of matches coming before the end of the year.

    johnGarfield, I posted the day after the fight the video of Roach objecting to the ridges on DLH handwraps.

    I know you're partial to Pacquiao, but chime in here.....from what I've been told you've worked with fighters before......

    Are those ridges on Pacquiao's handwraps legal?

    Roach in that video describes it as a heavier handwrap, which if I'm not mistaken, on impact would make the punch more concussive.
    ......that and the fact that there are ridges at the fist area........you would think somethink like that would be dangerous, as the power on impact is concentrated to penetrate the area of the ridges, which common sense would tell us that the fighter on the recieving end of those punches would be more suceptible to broken facial bones.

    You probably know more about handwraps than most of us Garfield, educate us as much as you can?



    Maybe even some of you of access to pictures of fighters handwraps can show us pictures of other fighters with similar ridges on the fist part of the wrap that might indicate that these ridges are common in boxing?

    The exact style of wrap he DID NOT WANT oscar to use is the exact style of wrap in which was used during the Margarito fight...
