I LOL'd when I saw AM sparring. I thought "Wow, how wide does he throw those punches" but I'm thinking they're doing that by design, for strategic purposes. For Team Pacquiao's eyes only.

He punches a bit faster on the punch mitts. Longer combos too.

A shotgun may not be the most accurate, but it makes up for it with volume of buckshots.

    Let's see what happens.

90% of people on this forum are basically predicting an easy win for Pac, and they think everything on 24/7 is manufactured to make the fight seem closer than it actually is.

Now, while 24/7 is certainly very manipulative of the footage for its own agenda (like most documentary style programs) I honestly believe that there is some measure of truth to it, too. I've seen footage of Ariza, completely separate to any official HBO videos, and even there he looks a bit worried that Pac isn't in his usual condition. Roach also said in a video separate to any 24/7 stuff, that 'Khan punched the **** out of Manny' during sparring. Granted, Marg is not Khan, and sparring can mean very little, unlike the real match, but there HAVE been issues during that training camp. It's not just one big conspiracy, complete with HBO officials twirling their moustaches and cackling to one another. Pac is involved in congress now, and it's only natural that he has less time for training than he used to -- it's also only natural, after a string of impressive wins, that someone may become complacent. We've seen it before in boxing history. Apparently Pac is looking much better now, and Roach is finally happy with the training, but it looks like it hasn't exactly been one of the smoother camps.

Marg is also being underestimated. I'll admit that I haven't seen much footage of him, but I recall that he keeps coming forward, and keeps throwing punches, trying to smother people on the ropes and keep them constantly busy. He's also working on body shots in training, apparently. He's clearly not as fast as Pac, he doesn't have a great deal of skill, and I doubt he'll be able to cut the ring off well, let alone against someone as quick as Pacman. Even so, his chin seems very sound (no shame being KO'd by someone like Shane) and he has natural size and weight on his side. He also has a good uppercut, if I remember right (I think it was in the Cotto fight where he kept throwing it while Cotto was against the ropes) and Clottey showed that Pac could leave himself open to that punch. The body shots might also slow Pac down, if he can land enough. I don't know how many fights he used those plaster hands for, so I don't know how good he actually is, but I don't think it would be wise to underestimate the guy.

It's likely that Pac will indeed just move around the ring and hit him with left hand after left hand, as he did versus Hoya, but I think Marg is definitely a live underdog. We've all seen stranger things happening in boxing, and bigger upsets. We'll see.

Many reputable people don't see a Margo win as an upset(Cotto,Goosen,Shields,Nazim,Atlas). Obviously Roger Mayweather does not count as he is openly and flagrantly biased against Paq.

Make no mistake. Pacquiao would starch Khan inside three if they ever fought. They'd never find all of the tiny pieces Khan's chin would get shattered into all over Cowboy's Stadium.

I would consider a Rockgloves win a definite upset. Pacquiao has every advantage aside from height going into this fight. In what way could Rockgloves possibly control rounds against a guy who punches sharper, is far more agile, more versatile, at least equal if not better stamina, etc.? This fight has "one-sided" written all over it.

I still don't see Margarito lasting the distance against Pac.

Pac doesn't get tired (neither does Marg to be fair) and is way too quick for him. He'll be landing those lighting fast, hard, and accurate shots on him all night.

    I see another Manny massacre.
