Pac has an ATG chin? He never gets the spaghetti legs from single shots.

When I say an ATG chin, I mean genuinely granite whiskers a la Toney or Hagler, not just a good chin.

The guy is taking on much bigger men, and because he likes to mix it up he gets hit cleanly now and then, and he eats up punches that have devastated bigger men than him with relative ease.

Pac sometimes admits to being hurt, but he never seems to get the ol' spaghetti legs that have him clinging on for dear life til he unscrambles his senses.

The only time I can recall seeing Pac even wobbled since he shot to Western prominence in '03 was in the second Marquez fight, but even then he recovered almost instantly and came firing right back, he wasn't rocking or trying to hold.

A 140-148lbs guy (who is a naturally lower weight fighter) shouldn't really be able to withstand the best shots of a 150+lbs Cotto or a 165lbs Margarito, but he shrugs them off.

The bigger guys he fights seem to find his punches a lot harder to handle than the little Filippino finds theirs.

I think his punch resistance is pretty amazing to be honest. What do you think? :bbb

Pac lost his balance against Marquez. Look at his eyes. He got caught while both his feet were off the ground. When he landed his feet were poorly positioned.

Last time he was spaghettied is against Larios in the 3rd round.

ATG chin and body. That body shot from JMM was the last one I saw him hurt but as the world knows now, he was starving himself making 130.

Also considering how offensive he is and to only be hurt a few times in many years is extra impressive.

Popkins, though I've not read it anywhere else I've noticed fighters that have large heads tend to take punches really well as opposed to fighters with smaller heads.

Larger heads: De La Hoya, Pacquiao, Margarito, JM Marquez

Smaller heads: Roy Jones Jr., Amir Khan

    Anyone else notice this?

Pac has a good chin and had he not been KO'd before his chin would be considered granite now. But that's how forums work.

He has a very solid chin indeed.

    Not really.

Margo hurt him during the fight but it takes a lot more than hurting him to make him switch into run for your life mode. The guy loves getting into a brawl, what else can ya say?
