Last night was a great fight... and it made me realise that Pac has given us a lot of HIGH LEVEL action packed fights.... Pac - Marquez 1,2 Pac - MAB Pac - Morales 1,2,3 But i cant help but think that its gonna start to show some effect on pac if it hasnt already... hes going on 30 and has taken some good punishment... also one thing i noticed last night is his defence is getting a lot better, his head movement.
His defense is a ton better, but he is starting to show the effects already IMO. It happens to all fighters who fight this style.
To me its already begiining to show that the effect is taking place. In the 11th and 12th, Pac did not have the energy he once had in the championship rounds which made him recognized as a relelentless fighter.
I agree him and Mosley never seem to make me made when I see any of there fights. They always bring it, even if losing. So I will continue to order any of their fights, even if I don't agree with the oppenent.
Everytime Manny steps in the ring he gives all boxing fans their money's worth ..Everytime we think he may have lost a step due to outside distractions he proves everybody wrong ..If only more boxers followed his example !!
I agree he wasn't as terrorizing in the last few rounds...although he was still great enough to win those rounds IMO. Sort of similar to Marquez/Vazquez 3 where Izzy just went out there like a house of fire in the 12th and stole the fight IMO.
Hes got about 3 more fights in him. He will walk through David Diaz, Juan Diaz will be a war but again he will walk through him and then he can rematch JMM where I would favour JMM. If Pac does indeed take on Hatton after David, it will be a good fight but that should be his last.
What Avatar bet in HELL did you lose to earn that thing? And that was probably the one of the best 1 round performances I've ever seen in a championship fight. He just came off the stool and blitzed Marquez something serious.
Something looked weird about Pacquiao last night I think it was the fact that Marquez was outthinking him. Also in the 12th he came out kind of flat compared to usually and i think that was a combination of him knowing he had the fight won and also the massive weight loss for the weigh in. Its time for Pac to move up to 135 no doubt though i would like to see a rematch at 135.
Best 12th round performance I've ever seen. Morales was slightly more badass, but Vasquez was unreal.
