With wins over Juan Manuel Marquez (a guy that Pac went to war with and hadn't got a decisive win) ... Shane Mosley (the guy who beat Margarito, the guy that destroyed Cotto) has put him on another level as far as negotiations ... Pac has nothing to improve his standing ... he has to agree to terms.

    What do you guys think?

Pac is more popular and beloved.

He has achieved more and his legacy is greater.

Manny doesn't need Mayweather one bit, in fact, I think Manny should retire and sleep soundly knowing that he is the Fighter of the Decade, and the biggest superstar in boxing :good

Doesn't pac have a pretty reasonable defermation suit in the pipe? That there is some leverage.

Shut up *****. Floyd just gained a SLEW of new fans after last night. He fought the opposite of what people said. He dominated and was going for it. People were nothing but amazed. The skill level was so transparent even to casual fans that dont know **** about boxing. Not some hail mary KO throwing a bunch of foom foom foom punches by a steroid gump. Pac fight did 700k ... not bad.. This fight has done over 2 mill I guarantee it. Twitter/Facebook was off the hook last night. Eat fish dicks and die *******s.

Pac's position is certainly worse than it was before the Pac-Clottey, Floyd-Shane fights.

Pac's last fight looked pretty **** (even though it was a good performance!) compared to Floyd's.

I think he doesn't need any leverage. Manny's victories have been as good as Floyd's. Besides what other interesting fight is there to be made?? Floyd is always talking **** about money. Well, there a ton of money waiting for him at that fight. The question still is: Does he wants that money?? Or is he too worry about his "0"??

pac is moar popular and loved by random foreigners across the world, but that doesn't make him a bigger draw in anyway. It's American dollars paying his AZZ.

pac is ****ed. He should have just taken the fight in the first round of negotiations. Shane Mosley awoken a dragon that was deep in its slumber.

To truly go down as the greatest fighter in this era and to shift them up the all time great list they both need each other.

The whole city of Detroit was buzzing about this fight. The waitress told me that it was more people last night there than on New Year's Eve! The women came out in bunches to see the fight.

he could retire and leave floyd without the career defining fight he needs. Both guys should sit down and sort it out

    Money 50 - 50

    Weight - Welterweight (no catchweights)

drug testing - regulation with extra blood testing (14 - 20 day window)

    gloves - 8oz

    Venue - MGM

there we go ive done it for them, lets get the fight on

You can't say that, Fitz. Pacquiao is the biggest boxer since Tyson or possibly even Ali. He has global leverage.

Apart from that, it's the only fight which makes money for Mayweather, seeing as Top Rank won't let him fight one of their boys unless it's Pacquiao. Who are the alternatives? Mayweather still needs Pacquiao.
