Yes they do have leverage and so does Mayweather's camp but again 50/50 is the only way to go. If Mayweather don't give Pac leverage then just say no again. It will get done at some point and it will be 50/50.

Pac gets Floyd the biggest pay day of his career, how is that not leverage?

Pacquiao would look even worse fighting Mayweather's leftovers again, when a fight with Floyd is there for the taking. The PPV numbers would be terrible for Manny and he would lose a lot of non-Filipino fans that he gained and the PED questions would just get louder. At the same time, all of this would make Mayweather look even better.

    I don't buy that.

Ok, in terms of drawing power, money and the fact that both of them already have solid claims to be all time greats then yes, i can see your point.

But in terms of good old fashioned best fighting the best to prove who is the best then both fighters need each other.

Pac, Floyd, their respective camps and all of us fans can argue from now until the end of time about this issue and never come to a solid conclusion, but if this fight does not take place, whilst both fighters can look upon their respective careers with pride after they retire, there will still be that lingering doubt over who actually was the best.

There have been a few people on here claiming that Floyd doesn't need Pac or Pac doesn't need Floyd but that is bull****. To be absolutely sure who is the best fighter of this era this fight has to happen.

This would be true if Pacquaio wasnt the bigger draw and also the p4p best fighter in the world.

50-50 is correect if Pacquaio agrees to mayweathers drug testing...

There's no other realistic option for Mayweather though. The choices are Pacquiao or no-name fighters, who will draw barely anything and Mayweather will make less than 8 figures against. Even the best choice, Williams, isn't going to make big money.

Mayweather has no options. At least Pacquiao can stay fighting Top Rank fighters and keep bringing in solid money.

First of all the fight should be 50/50.

Second of all you are comparing two wins over Marquez and Shane..to Pac Wins....He beat ODLH better then Floyd did, He beat Hattton better then Floyd hid, Destoryed Cotto, and Shut out Clottey. And this was all with in less then a two year period.

I think: Marquez was a bloated lightweight and has no business fighting Floyd; Shane is just too old, exposed as can't pull the trigger anymore. I don't think these achievements are something to be proud of.
