I'm of the opinion that Pac's right hook isn't as powerful as most seem to think. There isn't much torque with it, it's more of an arm punch that is destructive because of it's speed and accuracy. If you watch a Cotto or Trinidad or De La Hoya throw a left hook, it's a far more conventional hook that utilises the shift of body weight and torque to generate the power. But Pac throws his hook almost like an arm punch, but it's so quick and accurate that it just wreaks havoc. His straight left on the other hand... that is a ****ing cannon.

That hook/Upper hybrid was nasty. Cotto had a minor Yorgey moment with the way his face turned blank on his way down.

The half-hook half-uppercut has been around for years though. Sugar Ray Robinson used it, Oscar De La Hoya used it, many others used it. It's a very effective punch.

Honestly Pacquiao has all that he needs at this point. If Roach wants him to have an upper-cut, i'm sure he'll pick it up on time for his next fight lol

That would be scary if he keeps adding offensive arsenal!!! What's next, a roundhouse?

That was a nasty short punch. Miguel's left chin actually touching his left shoulder with a whiplash. One durable fighter because most fighters would have their brains scrambled with that kind of punch.
