Pacquaio reminds me of a magician that impresses you at first, but after the secrets are revealed your less then impressed.

This is not a diss to pac, so *******s calm down. I think Pac has shown how overrated jumping weight divisions is. I would rather Pac fight the best in the division then trying to impress us on how much bigger the guys are then he is.

    Example: Campbell @ 135 instead of Hoya @ 147

We understand why he had trouble with guys like Morales and Marquez, but since then he has avoided any fighter with ring intelligence or/and counter punching ability.

When Floyd fought Hatton, it got our attention because we thought pressure was the best way to beat Floyd based off the Castillo and Chavez fight, it had nothing to do with size.

When floyd fought Marquez it got our attention because taking a skilled fighter like Marquez for a comeback fight rather than a forbes type fighter was big.

When Pac fought Hatton, we thought hatton would win cause of size, not cause of skill, the same with cotto and everybody else Pac fights, the advantage for Pac fighters is always size.

We all need to thank Pac for teaching us that speed and movement beats size, but know it's time to stick to a nice weight which BOTH fighters can make comfortably and fight the top guys their, and if Floyd doesn't want to fight **** him, there's others out there.

He's great, but not super human

Pac has made jumping weight classes look very easy, that will go up in rating years after he retire. But catching belts is so easy with all the bull**** and many belts that fighters who have good skills can definitely get 5 belts in weight classes, a guy like nonito donaire seems capable of this.

is there anyone at 140 and 147 technically as good as jmm not named floyd that pac should have fought instead? also, choosing nate over oscar is crazy. i think you are talking in hindsight which is why you are saying this. if oscar came out in great condition and gave us one of his best performances, would you still have said nate was a better choice?

I agree Oscar was always the better choice win or lose, sometimes I think pac would have gotten more credit if the fight was more competitive. It was just a big money fight where roach gave pac a chance, he trained really hard and followed the gameplan. Oscar ****ed the weight up and boom many doors opened. Its actually floyds fault had he not retired pac wouldnt be number 1 and mayweathr probably would have easily beaten oscar in a rematch making way more money. Pac would have not made the jump and turned into the superstar we see now. Oscar fight made him big:thumbsup

yes I am speaking in hindsight, and there's no way for Oscar to come in great condition at that weight sorry.

Martinez showed us the same thing beating Kelly.

if it's overrated, we should have been seeing more current boxers doing it.

**** current boxers the ATG's couldn't do it because they wanted the clean out each division before moving up, and if they moved up it was because they couldn't make the weight anymore. Look at Hearns, doran, and all the other greats they tried to do as much as possible in each class before moving to the next. It's the same thing with Floyd also, jumping up not fighting the best.

again, we are talking in hindsight. the only reason you are saying now that it was easy is because pac actually did it. consider the scenario back before pac fought oscar. could you honestly say based on what you knew of him then that he would do what he has exactly done right now? did you know back then that pac could take cotto, margo, or hatton's punches well? or that he could take his speed and power up to welterweight? pac looked sluggish and careless against the likes of solis and larios. simulate that style and put it up against cotto, do you think pac would have won?

2012 will be that year, it will probably be marquez in november after that guys like berto and bradley are in 2012 I think. If bradley beats khan I want to see pac fight him or berto to be honest, Marquez will get knocked out at 147 and it will give a bad taste to the first 2 wars.
