Hell no. Some people were even already suggesting that Pacquiao was on the decline after that lackluster performance against Solis. Never would I have thought that he would beat the likes of Hatton, De la Hoya, much less Cotto.

You're logic makes no sense at all. If moving up weight classes and beating up bigger men at an elite level is over rated then becoming a champion in boxing at any weight is over rated.

Think of it this way....if it was so easy to do, jumping up in weight class...EVERYONE would be doing it! And everyone would be 6, 7 or 8 division champions.

PAC hasn't avoided anyone...mater of fact he's been seeking challenges MOST avoid. The fighters PAC has not only beat, but DOMINATED are FAR from what one would call "UN-Intelligent" boxers. JMM, MAB, EM, DLH, Cotto, Marg, Shane, Josh... they are all very solid fighters and most are ATG's and future hall of famers.

Floyd is a great fighter...very intelligent as a boxer, but he knows his ability and weaknesses. With PAC Floyd is NOT confident in coming out of that one with his hands raised so his defensive nature saw him skip out on a fight that would probably be the richest in boxing history.

If jumping weight classes is overrated and easy thing to do, would the likes of JMM stay at featherweight for more than a decade? he would have jumped when he's still young and become the first Mexican to be come 5 or 6 division champ. Everybody would have done the same if that was an easy task, Pacquiao just made it look easy because he's an exceptional fighter, but if you put other fighters to do what Pac just did, it won't be that easy as what you think, specially if you are fighting bigger and strong fighters than you.

Ok man. I guess we will be seeing every great little fighter in future jump up 5 divisions in quick succession to maximise their earning potential since it's that easy.

bar floyd, there is no slick guy who could really bother pac all that much,i think he walks through them easily,he has the speed, footwork and timing to land enough punches and breaks them down easy enough.

weve seen how alexander and bradley exposed each other as not special fighters, pac would have done them both in a couple of rounds hatton style!.
