It's the only relevant part of the scenario here, because any fighter with good speed and power could knock out an elite on any given day but not any fighter can over come such a huge deficit and come out on top, as I'm sure you know many people also thought JMM should have won the fight.

And I disagree with the other poster about Pac being a fighter "who is nothing special", or was that you just twisting his words?

There are not alot of elite fighters getting KO'd in their prime by fighters with "great speed and good power, but nothing else" (or in general). And even on the fluke occurence that it happens, a fighter who has "nothing else" certainly doesn't do it frequently and often. So it isn't the only relevant part of the scenario. How many fighters can you name that KD an elite fighter 3 times in one round? It's the only relevant part to you because you seem to deem it special and what Pacquiao did a normal occurance. It isn't.

When we are talking about whether or not Pacquiao is something more than just "great speed and good power", anything he has accomplished is relevant. If he was nothing more than that, he wouldn't have stopped Barrera and Morales (no matter how faded, because the other fighters didn't) or any of the other champions he has KO'd. If it was an isolated incident with JMM, you could say it wasn't relevant to his overall ability as a fighter. But it's not.

BTW, there are alot of people who think Pacquiao won that fight as well. (Including two of the judges) And I never said the poster said he wasn't special. He insinuated it, and his prior posts on the subject have insinuated it as well.

If you would stop looking for a fight and trying to defend Marquez, you would realize that I am not denegrating him, but trying to prove that denegrating Pacquiao only denegrates Marquez and any other fighter Pacquiao has either beaten or in this case, fought to a controversial draw with.

    Not especially.

You jumped in defending Marquez, when I was clearly not attacking him, but pointing out the flaw in talking down one fighter while building the other one up when they have already fought a close close fight. Talking down one isn't helpful to the other one in most cases. So perhaps you should have chilled before assuming I was attacking Marquez.
