Just wondering if anyone would be interested in seeing a rematch of this. I know i know, dela hoya got his ass handed to him, what's the point of a rematch?

Well first I think it has a way better selling point now and story to it, before it had nothing behind it really but now they can always sell that dela hoya got humiliated. And it also be interesting to see how he does with his weight if there were a rematch, learning what he did from the first fight. Not saying he'd win but it probably be a lot more competitive.

Of course he would have to give pac more like 60/40 this time and it would have to be on reg HBO cause I'm not paying 55.95 for it!!! :nut

Nobody will buy it anymore, they saw it once not happening twice... Unless you just really want someone to see get beaten up the same way... just rather watch the replay.

    Pointless rematch.

DLH cant perform higher than at a C + level in the 147 lb class anymore & its beyond unreasonable to ask Pacman to go any higher than that.

Its done, DLH has forever ruined his legacy, he has embarassed himself, his family & anyone that knows him on a personal level, there aint no recovering from this one, he`s all done.

I will take it as a personal insult as a boxing fan if this man even tries to put on another pair of boxing gloves while being televised..... Seriously.

DLH will be hurting for a month.. what possible motivation could he have to fight Pac again, and personally i never want to see DLH in a ring like he was in the last fight.

DLH would have to prove himself against a named opponent on HBO so he can regain the publics interest in another PPV. Plus he looked horrible at 147 and no way Roach and Manny agrees to 154. We don't even know if DLH can recover from the beating either.

Because it is DLH I see it as a serious option next to Hatton and PBF, and one that will go away shortly, where as the Hatton and PBF options will remain on the table longer (unless one of them loses in the meantime).

I think Roach and Pac would consider this fight at 147 again, but I think Oscar might get them to go all the way to 150 if he gives them 50 / 50. They will make more than they did in the first one that way even if there are significantly less buys, plus the public can be convinced it was Nacho's fault, and not coming in near 160, that did Oscar in, 24/7 shows can help with that perception and Dan Raphael etc and Ring Magazine and, even Roach and Pac.

If the fight is at 150, I don't think Oscar does well anyways, because due to all the weighing oddites, I think it is possible he did already weight near 150 the night before the fight, but who the **** nows for sure.

Ultimately though, with the Hatton and PBF options looking very possible and lucrative, we might not get this one right away, if ever, which wouldn't be a bad thing, accept Oscar was "Q U I T T E D" by his corner and he did not object, and he lost to a tiny little asian man, this has got to hurt.

I see Oscar trying to make this fight at 150 and even, for once, giving away half the purse just to do the fight......but really, will it make much of a difference? I think not. I think Pac beats him even if Oscar weighed 160.
