No no, I do think Oscar was drained, but not to this dangerously extreme extent that many people make it out to be, to the point that the win now has no value.

We have seen numerous fighters in the past produce uncharacteristically sluggish performances, and later cite being weight-drained as the reason, and none of those wins are completely written off as being worthless in the way that Pac-Oscar is.

I'm thinking of fights like Mayweather-Corrales and Jones-Toney here. Both great wins, both achieved over guys who had well-documented weight issues pre-fight.

Oscar was drained, but he was no worse than Corrales or Toney. He still had the strength to take many clean punches and stay up, he still had the energy to unleash a sustained attack after eating serious punishment. He was no ghost that night. :deal

Or Floyd can put his money where his mouth is and stop running from the midget.. no, not the midget Marquez, the midget Pacquiao.

I like how most of the pacfarts in this thread are arguing about weight. They don't even realize manny's style is better against Oscar than Floyd's style was.

 Based on what, Oscar's epic performance against Steve Forbes in his next fight?

Floyd stayed defensive and let Oscar come forward and tee off. If Pac had done the same, Oscar would have done the same.

But Pac never stopped moving and never stopped attacking. Any older, slower, past-prime fighter would find facing a threshing machine like that absolute HELL.

You ***** ***gots will say anything. "Vastly superior". What a pile of ****.

The number of bandwagon-jumping drama queens on here never ceases to amaze.

These turds would have you believe that Oscar looked like this in December of '08:

When in actual fact, he looked fit, lean, strong and determined:

YES, of course he was weight-drained, but all this nonsense about him coming to the ring a dangerously weight-weakened shell of a man has to stop. :deal

    Against the same opponents:

Pac aimed to KO his opponents and give them as much damage.

Floyd always keeps it safe and will not engage a much.

The same opponents will always look better against PBF compared to when they fight Pac. Excluding JMM ofcourse. ALL ABOUT STYLES.

You just fkd your own argument/agenda.

Oscar weighed in at 154 vs FMJ... next fight weighed 150 vs Forbes... next fight weighed 147 vs Pacquiao.

His performances got worse each time because now listen carefully & try take this in... HIS BODY COULD NO LONGER MAKE THESE WEIGHTS & ALLOW HIM TO PRODUCE AN EVEN HALF DECENT EFFORT.

Did DLH look better vs Floyd than he did Pac ?... yes... but he also looked better vs Floyd than he did vs Forbes & there is absolutely zero debate on who is the superior fighter between Floyd & Forbes.... the reason ?... he was not comfortable at those weights at that stage in his life.

    I rest my case !

The midget ran as soon as the issue of blood testing came up.... Sorry kid, but you really cant put all of this on Floyd, Manny has an equal ammount of responsibility here as well.... this is comming from a die hard Mayweather Hater.... :hi:

They wont listen to anything that doesnt say `I suck Pac`s dick`

They are the worst bunch of misfits Ive ever come across, they are in fact the main reason I will be smiling my ass off when Mayweather beats their idol... then they can **** off & follow tennis or something because they bring nothing but nonsense Pacquiao bull**** to the boxing forums.

Yes, I can blame it all on Mayweather, pops.. just like most objective people do. I don't pay any attention to that smokescreen blood test excuse. You actually follow that crock of **** coming from Roid Mayweather's mouth? Mayweather is bigger than Pacquiao by a good bit (in boxing terms, size-wise).. if he's gonna run the midget down with his mouth, HE needs to step it up. That's the way it works in the real world of boxing. See, Marquez is talkin about Pacquiao now, and I have no doubt he would get in the ring again with Pacquiao (win or lose against Mosley) before Mayweather would ever even dream of it in his worst nightmare.

Pac kept the distance long, Floyd let Oscar get close and used his defence to stay safe. Oscar was not as ****ed as every says, he was capable but cleary faded in both fights.
