Does anyone think Pac can pull it off? On paper it looks wrong but there are a few elements that make this more than just a good big guy beats a good little guy Age, hunger, speed, commitment......... I dunno. Can't articulate it. Not sure enough to put money on it but I think a Manny victory would be a good payday in excitement anyway.
i just cant see manny being able to hurt hoya with anything.. not including hopkins body shot, hoyas been in with some cannons in his time and hasnt really ever been severely wobbled the second mosley fight was about the worst.. I hate to say it but i really think manny could get seriously f**ked up in this one.. i think itll look like a replica of hoya - gatti except shorter..
Presuming that Oscar isn't killed/drained making the 147 weight limit i give Pacman no chance. No way in the world will Pacman hurt Oscar. Oscar even at 35 has very good power, an A-grade chin and is very skilled. Only last year Floyd sneaked by him in a close fight. Floyd is alot bigger than Pacman and a master boxer.Pacman is just too small to pull this off.
Depends whether DLH is drained at 147. If Pacman can survive the early storm, then his chances begin to increase as the bout moves beyond 6 rounds. That being said, everyone expects him to lose so the pressure is on DLH. The more I read into it all, the more chance I give Manny, but I won't know for sure until I see that size difference on the night. I say DLH catches him though with a KO in the 5th.
Pac won't have the firepower to worry oscar. I don't expect this fight to go more than 7 rds. Oscar via tko. Its simply too much of an ask for pac to move from 130, have 1 fight at 135, then jump up to 147 & fight Oscar.
Pac can do it...Ill have money on him to do so. My confidence I will see that money again isnt high though. Anyone find better then 2.75 for a Pac win?
De la Hoya's inability to fight 12 rounds has always been his biggest downfall. The fact that Pacquiao can - and looks to be carrying the weight well could result in an upset.
