i understand your point. but we have to be fair on both sides: those who are pac fans and those who underrate and does not appreciate him

yes, there are pac fans who worship him to the extreme. those posters were the main reason why puga ni nana, chimba, pelican, ipitythefool, cooke, the underdog et al. has been forced to differentiate themselves yet due to gross generalizations being made by other posters, they are still being labeled as ignorant posters who do not know anything aside from pacquiao

what i am saying is, not all posters, especially filipinos, do not know what the hell their talking about. we might be of same race but some, if not most of us here are aware when it comes to boxing knowledge and try to be as sensible as possible when it comes to discussion on pac. pacdbest is on his own, most of us do not agree with him, and even though he is always losing when it comes to boxing discussions he will not change his perception on pac and neither does his attitude.

just like what you said, the insults hurled at pac are unwarranted and unnecessary. but not only are the pac fans solely responsible, you also have to consider the haters and those who are unforgiving when it comes to their criticisms

I don't believe Sweet Pea has joined in on anyone's cause (I don't recall much of TFFP's postings here). He is in this thread with his own issues with certain posters.

I have never agreed with Amsterdam's extreme tactics, even while agreeing with him on other subject matter and generally liking him as a poster. I don't like the way the thread is presented, nor do I agree with all points made (some I do agree with, though I tend to pinpoint rather than generalize). But at some point, the thread has to die. And if people are going to point fingers? Don't ignore one side of the party because they have something in common with you, whether it be favorite fighters or nationailty. You know exactly what I mean too.....

Some of the Pac Fans have begun to seperate themselves from certain other ones. I think that is good for the forum because there does need to be a distinguishing line drawn between ANY fighters "fanatics" and his "fans". Pacquiao fans get the brunt of the criticism currently because the "fanatics" of Pacquiao happen to be more irritating than the "fanatics" of other fighters. It's cyclical....before that Mayweather fans had to endure because of Radar and Bigtime9. Hopefully once the line is clearly distinguished, there will be less generalizing.
