Pac is 3 wins away from having a very good argument as the Best of All Time

Pacs top 20 ATG in most historians and boxing peoples list already but with a win against Margo then Floyd, hed surpass Duran and be inside the top 5.

 

In the old days they need to fight often to make money because of the absence of today's TV money.. That's why they fought the same opponents 3-6 times.

Today Fighters only got paid for the big matchup. Only when the Dollar make sense.

Just look at Pac's history? He fought the best and spars with the rest and Proven the best. You can easily add guys like Donaire, Valero, Linares, Khan, Ortiz, Vasquez, Castillo, Benevidez, Zappavigna etc,,,some of these were Belt holders on their own right but experienced a beatdown with Pac in sparring.

And more future stars are about to taste Pac's fury in sparring. Martirosyan, Chavez Jr, Glen Tapia, etc were all sure Bet future Champ and will experience getting the same beatdown with Pac.

Add all these name in Pac's resume and I'm not gonna Blink an eye to say that Pac could be the Greatest of all time.

Top 5? Maybe.
ATG 1? Sorry no.

But that is not set in stone. Often it is not only what you did but what your opponent did.

If he beats these 3 (MArg, May and Will/MArt) and they do other things that would further enhance their legacy he can make an argument for top 5.

For example, if Pac beats Martinez and Martinez becomes a HoF himself, that further enhances theoretical win over him. Thus make his argument to climb the ATg ladder stronger.

 

It would put him inside the top 10 surely.

 

Pacquiao is currently being ranked by experts and Pac extremist top 15-25. What makes you think that he's not going reach top 1, 2, or 3 if he beat Margo, Williams, and Mayweather.

You should know how big Pacquiao's legacy is. Multiple titles in different divisions. Won his first belt at the age of 18-19. The only boxer today who has won 4 lineal titles in different division. It'd be five if he beats Mayweather. Those are some reasons why he is great. There is many more reason that anyone can argue why he can be at top 10.

Pac is always busy hunting the biggest name. And he's actually fighting them and hunting them. Once we catch Floyd, the rest like Pwill & Martinez will be just icing on the cake.

 

U seem to forget his titles are not legit. He makes everyone come in at a catchweight to win the title. If he woulda beat cotto at 147 and be fighting margo at 154 and beat him then its a diff story but he's always lookin for an unfair advantage. If he would fight Williams he would try and do it at 135 or martinez at 140 for the middleweight crown haha

 

Dude like i said you can spar sugar ray robinson 1000 times but your legacy isnt enhanced unless you have a sanctioned bout.

It would be a great accomplishment if he beats May and the Will/Mart winner but #1 all time is a big overstatement. If he doesn't pull any catch weight BS it would be easy to make a top 10 argument for him. He has a great resume up to this point and if he adds those wins it'd be ATG. I hope these fights get made and we get a chance to see just how great he (or Mayweather) can be.

 

Those guys including Mayweather is nothing but a bonus to the fans, IMO.
