LOL...I am impressed with what Pac has accomplished, though I have my criticisms of the approach his camp is taking, to making some of these fights and such. But, not quite impressed enough to say he's touching that #1 ATG spot, before he hangs them up. It's a matter of opinion anyway. So, while some experts will dare to make that argument for him, others, with just as compelling of an argument, will refute that. If you think he is the GOAT, then he is the GOAT (to you). I concede that he is an ATG, and should fall easily somewhere within the Top 50 ATG, upon his retirement, IMO.

yes, FMJ is actually higher than PAC as far as achievements is concerned

Imagine, winning over Baldomir ages ago :rofl, winning over hatton who had to jump one division higher and winning over JMM who had to jump two divisions higher! :rofl:rofl

Pac has not had enough fights.. most top 10 atgs have 100+ fights under their belt. Size of the resume matters

If Pac beats Mayweather, he is already in top 3.

It matters, but it can be countered by weight jumps, multi titles, sustained level of opposition etc.
We can't judge todays ATG's by the exact criteria of yesteryear and to be honest those fighters that have 100+ fights look at most of the inbetween fights vs guys with 10-20+ losses etc. I tend to remove those as do most people.

There's nothing this guy could do short of beating PBF, Williams/Martinez winner at 160 and the winner of the super 6 at 168 that would put him in the top 3 and that still might not be enough.

Marcelo is a ******* who just started watching boxing when Pac beat Oscar and will stop watching boxing when Pac is done. He doesn't have a clue as to what he's talking about.

And this is how we know you don't pay attention. SRL fought a catchweight fight against Lalond. How do you think he simultaniously won the supper middle and light heavy title? Ali obviously didn't use catchweights he was a ****ing heavy? Catch weights don't even make sense in that context really. Not sure whether SRR or Hearn's fought any catch weights fairly sure Hearns may have. But yeah SRL was the one I had to point out as you being ******ed.

i't might be good enough to crack top 10... but still a long way to take SRR's spot at the top.

Pacquiao is already a top 25-20 ATG. I don't see how anyone could argue otherwise. A really good, non-controversial win over Floyd Mayweather is enough to put him in the top 15. Fighting Martinez or Williams is a bit over the top, so I won't even go there. So, in short, the highest Pacquiao could reach before he quits for good is top 10. He'll never be at 1. Never. Not in general consensus ATG rankings, anyway.
