Yel and Liston hadn't fought any real competition in 2 years and Patterson had a bad back and Liston threw the 2nd fight and Archie Moore is too old and, and etc......
Juan Urango would've been a major step up for Pac when he was at 140lbs... Also than Murad Muhammed didn't want him fighting black fighters. Period... In the lead-up to the aborted superfight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, there were a number of allegations about Pacquiao. Overshadowed by the allegations of steroid use were the allegations that Pacquiao had intentionally avoided facing any African-American fighters in his career. Nate Campbell made the original allegation, and today it was repeated by Pacquiao's former promoter Murad Muhammad, who has stated that he kept Pacquiao away from African-American fighters while he was promoting Pacquiao. Do these allegations have any merit? Let's take a look at who was around different weight classes when Pacquiao was there:http://www.badlefthook.com/2010/2/26/1327640/has-manny-pacquiao-ducked-african
I agree. Pac is definitely the better fighter going in. Floyd is basically a grandpa at his age. Still enough to beat Pac. Get em Floyd!
Fight fans once called Manny genius for calling 40 million dollars peanuts He held out for more and got himself war and now he's on the way to meet Jesus
Yeah Floyd hasn't fought any elite competition like Algieri or Diaz, or Margacheato or JMM who KO'd Manny (Oops he did fight JMM and won every round), or the great Tim Bradley(LOL). Not to mention dangerous guys like Brandon Rios and Oscar Larios. Now this is a true Hall of Shame career !
